Forspoken, a role-playing game about the adventures of the girl Frey, who finds herself in a magical world called Atiya, was released on January 24. In a new Streams Charts article, we will tell you how successful the game was launched on Twitch, and which streamers are leaders in this category.
Forspoken received mixed reviews on Steam almost immediately after its release. Players have massively complained about poor optimization, bugs, as well as the graphics, outdated animation and the main character, who constantly swears. Despite Forspoken's release on January 24, many streamers got access to the game a day early. Just Chatting, the most popular category on the platform, accumulated more than 31.7 million HW in the same period, and Valorant, which rounds out the Top 5, accumulated more than 9.4 million HW.
Forspoken reached 76K Peak Viewers and 1,337 Peak Channels on the day of the release. On January, 25 an Average Viewers number of the novelty was higher by 40% and amounted to 39.6K people. On that day, the game amassed 937K Hours Watched and took 14th place on Twitch, ahead of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online. Forspoken probably won't go any higher than that, as the hype around the game is subsiding.
Alanzoka is the most popular Forspoken streamer on Twitch. The Brazilian streamer broadcast the game on January 23 for 5.5 hours and amassed 131K HW. LIRIK plays the novelty on the day of its release and for 4.5 hours on air accumulated 111K HW, taking fourth place in the Top. Introductory broadcasts of the game were also held GRONKH, zackrawrr and 풍월량 (hanryang1125).

Forspoken has already made its mark as the first DirectStorage-enabled game in history. Despite mixed reviews and very modest starting viewership statistics, this RPG found its audience and helped the gaming industry take a step into the future.
