The much anticipated fourth edition of La Velada del Año, which was announced in early March, is coming up. With the anticipation increasing by the day for this exhibition event that mixes sports, entertainment, and streaming, fans are keeping their eyes and ears open for any details that come their way.
On May 21, one such update was dropped by this boxing event's creator, ibai, and Movistar eSports, which supports his esports teams. As per their social media posts, there will be a total of seven artists who will perform at the La Velada del Año IV, as seen below:

For those unaware, this sports and entertainment spectacle sees various Spanish-speaking content creators and influences battle each other in boxing bouts. These match-ups are curated by ibai, also the host for the event, and the resultant action has made it one of the most popular annual attractions on Twitch.
The fourth edition will emanate from the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, the iconic home stadium of Spanish football club Real Madrid. So far, six matches have been announced, including a WWE-style Royal Rumble match.

The Twitch megastar also announced that he will be revealing a special guest artist on his channel on June 13, a month before showtime, depending on their availability. Fans have been speculating since this news about who this eighth performer could be, but to get a definite answer, they will have to wait till next month.
How to watch La Velada del Año IV
This boxing tournament can be caught on ibai's official Twitch channel on July 13. Fans of other content creators need not fret as co-streaming will also be available, meaning they can catch these bouts live on their favorite influencers' handles.
Tickets for this iteration of the La Velada del Año will also be available, with sales beginning in April at the same prices as the previous year. Those making plans to attend this spectacle in person at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid can procure passes that cost anywhere between €30 and €140.
For those not in the know, the La Velada del Año is one of the most watched events on Twitch, with its third edition ending as the purple platform's most popular ever individual stream, at 3.4 PV. It beat out the record ibai himself created during the second edition, where he reached 3.35M million concurrent spectators to beat the mark set by compatriot TheGrefg in January 2021.
With so much history behind it, one that has already solidified the Spanish star's legacy, fans have come to expect the best during this event. And judging by the news and hype around the 2024 event, he is doing everything possible to live up to that hype.
