Popular American YouTuber iShowSpeed held an IRL broadcast from the Ballon d'Or 2023 awards ceremony and attracted 548K Peak Viewers. This is the best result of 2023 among English-language solo content creators, and the sixth most popular English-language stream of all time (excl. streams from organizations or companies).
Almost all positions in all-time top-10 rankings for English-speaking streamers are taken by gaming content creators from YouTube and Twitch. The vast majority of the list consists of gaming streamers, and it also included streamer xTears88, who gathered a huge audience at the unauthorized broadcast of the Summer Asian Games in 2018. Tenth place was taken by popular sports blogger Pat MacAfee, who hosts his own show on YouTube. As for other platforms, Andrew Tate with Rumble and Adin Ross with Kick came closest to get to the top 10.

With the Ballon d'Or 2023 broadcast iShowSpeed also set a new peak viewers record for its own channel. His previous record was 288.1K people and it was also reached thanks to football: in December 2022, IShowSpeed had an IRL stream from the match between the national teams of Morocco and Portugal at the World Cup in Qatar.
Many popular streamers covered the Ballon d'Or 2023 ceremony on their channels, but IShowSpeed went even further — he personally flew to France and visited the event venue. During the broadcast, iShowSpeed shared his emotions from meeting famous football players, asked them provocative questions, and showed them the backstage of the Chatelet Theater, on the stage where the winners were congratulated. iShowSpeed also very much lamented that the main award again did not go to Lionel Messi, and not to his favorite player Cristiano Ronaldo. Apparently, the streamer missed that the Portuguese soccer superstar wasn't even among the nominees.
