Prominent American streamer IShowSpeed hosted one of his most popular broadcasts to date yesterday, attracting nearly 310,000 concurrent viewers on his YouTube livestream during his second visit to Poland. In recent days, the American content creator has been traveling across Europe, frequently visiting German stadiums to watch Euro matches. This series of streams has been the most successful for IShowSpeed in 2024. Streams Charts reports on the large audience following his adventures in the Old World.
In recent weeks, IShowSpeed has been touring European countries as part of his football-themed journey coinciding with UEFA Euro 2024. He has already explored Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and other nations, conducting several IRL streams. These streams featured interactions with fans, visits to landmarks, a meeting with Albania's Prime Minister, a thrilling drive in a Formula 1 car, and, naturally, attendance at football matches in Germany.
Until recently, IShowSpeed's tour had been going smoothly. He consistently drew large audiences to his broadcasts. However, upon arriving in Norway, an unfortunate incident occurred. While streaming from a souvenir shop where a crowd of his fans had gathered outside, IShowSpeed attempted to entertain by jumping near a second-floor window, but he stumbled and suffered a severe ankle injury (later confirmed as a fracture).

After suffering the injury, IShowSpeed attempted to exit the shop but encountered a swarm of fans at the entrance. Their conduct was shockingly inappropriate — they pulled his hair, drenched him with water, clambered onto his car's roof, and even tried to leap onto him until the streamer's security guard had to carry Speed to safety. Numerous videos of the incident have surfaced online, capturing the chaos from the crowd's viewpoint. These videos also capture IShowSpeed's angry outcries, suggesting he was displeased with the overwhelming attention.

Later that evening, IShowSpeed posted a video where he criticized his fans for their unwelcome behavior, describing it as the worst day of his life and declaring he would never return to Norway. The incident sparked widespread discussions across social media platforms, with IShowSpeed's fan base split into two factions — some offering genuine sympathy, while others approached the situation with humor.
The broadcast from Norway drew an impressive audience of over 219,600 viewers. Despite an ankle injury, IShowSpeed continued his European tour. On July 5, he watched the UEFA EURO 2024 quarterfinal match between Portugal and France with football fans in Germany. Though his injured leg occasionally required the use of crutches, it didn't significantly hinder him. This livestream peaked at 235,000 viewers.
On July 7, IShowSpeed returned to Poland, where he strolled through Kraków and participated in filming a new version of the dating show "20 Women vs. 1 Man." The stream featured many funny and awkward moments between IShowSpeed and the girls, captivating the audience. The broadcast reached a peak viewership of over 309,400: his best performance in 2024 and the second-highest in his channel's history.
It's noteworthy that IShowSpeed's most successful stream to date occurred on October 30, 2023, during an IRL broadcast from the Ballon d’Or ceremony, attracting over 548,000 simultaneous viewers.
