Kick stats in December 2025: boxing, esports, and a new record for Games Streamed

Kick stats in December 2025: boxing, esports, and a new record for Games Streamed
Share:

Kick’s viewership dipped slightly in December, but the platform set a new record for the variety of games streamed. The standout creators in the final month of 2025 were Alexandre “Gaules” Chiqueta and Lucas “luquitarodriguez” Rodriguez. The first streamer generated massive watch hours while covering the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, while the Argentine creator hit a new personal peak during his broadcast of the boxing spectacle Párense de Manos 3. It’s no secret that the “green platform” has a soft spot for combat-focused content — and audiences consistently respond to it with enthusiasm.

In December 2025, Kick streams generated approximately 436 million Hours Watched, down 7% month over month. Other key metrics also softened toward the end of the year, with peak viewership dropping by 14% and peak active channels declining by 12%. These dips were relatively minor: Kick experienced explosive growth over the summer, when the platform set multiple all-time viewership records, and some of that momentum naturally eased during the holiday period. Even so, December still brought a milestone, as Kick posted its strongest performance ever in terms of the number of games streamed.

There were no major shifts among Kick’s top categories. The top four remained the same, with Just Chatting, IRL, GTA V, and Slots & Casino holding their positions and delivering roughly the same hours watched as in November. Elsewhere in the rankings, Counter-Strike saw a modest boost, climbing two spots thanks to Gaules’ coverage of the StarLadder Budapest Major 2025.

The top categories also saw several new additions: Respect RP (GTA) was particularly popular among streamers in Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, while the Special Events category experienced a big boost thanks to a boxing showcase in Argentina. Meanwhile, Knight Online emerged as a breakout hit for streamers in Turkey.

Kick’s top genres saw a few reshuffles in December as well. IRL overtook Action, driven largely by fading interest in Rust and ARC Raiders. Driving/Racing and Strategy also switched places, though the difference between them remains negligible. Meanwhile, Survival fell out of the top 10 and was replaced by Mobile.

Gaules was the most-watched channel on Kick in December, generating 7.57 million Hours Watched. As noted earlier, the Brazilian streamer’s extensive coverage of the Counter-Strike Major played a key role in propelling him to the top of the platform.

The rest of the top rankings were filled by familiar names who consistently appear in Kick charts. Japanese influencer Shun “korekore_ch” Aoki and Red Bull–backed Jordanian streamer Maher “Maherco” Sultaneh both secured spots in the top three, despite seeing a slight dip in performance in December. The list also included established livestreaming heavyweights like Luis Fernando “Westcol” Villa Álvarez and Adin Ross.

The biggest new entry in the rankings was Argentine streamer luquitarodriguez, who hosted Párense de Manos 3 in late December — a major boxing event featuring influencer show matches from across Argentina. The stream peaked at 766,169 concurrent viewers, marking a new record for the luquitarodriguez channel.

Alondra “alondrissa” Michelle once again topped the list of Kick’s most popular female streamers. That said, she ran only a handful of smaller streams last month, mostly hosting movie watch parties with friends and her audience.

The majority of the top female streamers came from Latin America, including Peru, Colombia, and Puerto Rico. Most focused on IRL and Just Chatting streams, giving fans a glimpse into their everyday lives — workouts, nights out at clubs, shopping, and more. The sole U.S. entrant in the top rankings was kyootbot, whose content is primarily centered on the Slots & Casino category.
