Kings World Cup 2024: participants, football stars and popular streamers

The Kings World Cup 2024, a media football championship, is set to take place from May 26th to June 8th in Mexico. The tournament will feature 32 teams, with representatives each from the Kings League and Kings League Americas, alongside 12 invited teams worldwide.

The format of the Kings World Cup 2024 consists of two stages: the Swiss Stage and the Knockout Stage. Each team will need to field seven players per match. Participants will compete under the unconventional rules of the media league, with the tournament winner receiving a million-dollar prize. The Kings World Cup 2024 final matches will be held at the Estadio BBVA in Monterrey.

Each team in the Kings World Cup 2024 will be represented by ambassadors, including popular content creators, streamers, bloggers, and stars of the global football scene. Currently, there is no precise information on whether the latter will play for their teams as footballers, but such an option is possible.

As usual in the Kings League, teams will field a regular roster of ten drafted players, plus guest 11th, 12th and 13th Players.

Kings League World Cup 2024 Format

Kings League World Cup 2024 tournament will be held in two stages — Swiss system and Knockout stage. A total of 32 teams will play in the World Cup 2024:

• 8 top teams of Kings League Spain;
• 8 top teams from Kings League Americas;
• 12 invited Wildcard teams from around the world;
• 4 teams that will go through the Redemption Game preliminary stage. In this stage, the quota will be played by those members of Kings League Spain and Kings League Americas who did not receive invitations directly.

The Kings World Cup 2024 organizers have not yet announced what format the championship will be covered in. Most likely, content creators from among the ambassadors will be able to broadcast matches of their teams on their personal channels.
