La Velada del Año failed to break the Twitch platform viewership record for the first time since the third edition, but it reached a new series peak record of 8.7 million viewers, according to Streams Charts. Event creator Ibai "Ibai" Llanos also fell short of surpassing his personal Twitch channel's mark, although he did attain a new milestone on his YouTube channel.
The fourth and fifth editions had broken both platform records and the personal channel milestone for Ibai by peak concurrent viewership on Twitch. However, La Velada Del Año VI was unable to maintain this streak on the purple platform, with one big reason being the fact that multistreaming has become more widespread.

As a result, Ibai and many other community streamers who would, until 2025, have streamed the influencer boxing event on one platform shared broadcast duties across two or three platforms. Even Ibai, who reached a previously unthinkable 7.67 million Peak Viewers last year on Twitch, could only muster 2.08 million PV on the Amazon-owned platform.

Some good news came in the form of his YouTube channel, which generated much higher engagement from his viewers than Twitch, reaching a personal record of 5.08 million PV. This put both his YouTube and Twitch channels among the ten most popular ever in livestreaming, making the Spanish sensation the only streamer with such a unique achievement.
It also set a new series record of 8.7 million Peak Viewers, becoming the first La Velada del Año edition to surpass this mark.
La Velada del Año has become one of the most exciting and hyped events on the global livestreaming calendar every year. The combination of star names boxing it out and the insane viewership numbers it does has made it an attraction all on its own on Twitch.

La Velada del Año VI was held at the Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, which has a capacity of around 80,000 people. Although it was unable to match the viewership numbers seen in previous years on Twitch, it still ended as the most successful event in the series thanks to the high audience engagement witnessed on YouTube.
