Ludwig's Streamer Games 2025: participants, broadcasts, and more

Ludwig's Streamer Games 2025: participants, broadcasts, and more
Share:

Having kicked off last year as a tribute to the Olympic Games (held in Paris between July and August), the Streamer Games is coming back for a second round this year. A creation of the popular American YouTuber Ludwig Ahgren, fans can expect it to be bigger, wilder, and much more memeable.

The first Streamer Games was held between eight teams of popular Twitch and YouTube online personalities. It included events like the Tungsten Cube Toss (a play on the shot put competition, where individuals attempt to throw a heavy tungsten cube as far as possible) and the ever-popular 100m Dash.

While the above events were almost directly related to the traditional events we see at the Summer Games, there were a few quirky competitions as well. Influencers participated in events like Simon Says and the Table Cloth Pull, which, as the name suggests, sees players trying to pull a tablecloth from under a bunch of objects kept on the table without knocking them over.

Some of the most well-known participants last year were Connor "CDawgVA" Colquhoun, Rani "stableronaldo" Netz, Blaire "QTCinderella," and Tim "EsfandTV" Esfandiari. Popular non-attendees to broadcast the action included Emily "Emiru" Schunk and Ironmouse, both of whom ended among the event's more popular co-casters.

The 2025 edition of this influencer-tournament, which is a playful spin on the Olympic Games, is bound to include as many, if not more, star-studded participants. Here are all the known details for those interested in following and attending the Streamer Games 2025.

When and where is Ludwig's Streamer Games 2025 taking place?

This Olympic-style chaos-fest will be held on August 16 and 17 at Leuzinger High School in Los Angeles, California. It will be co-presented by Ludwig’s Mogul Moves and Red Bull Gaming, where the YouTuber has been part of the content creator/athlete roster since 2024.

Ludwig's Streamer Games 2025 will see 40 top video game personalities clash in a series of physical challenges. Like last year, it will include traditional events and more unconventional ones that will keep fans and viewers hooked to their seats.

Tickets for those interested in attending the action live are available and can be purchased here.

Where to watch Ludwig's Streamer Games 2025?

Fans can catch all the action on Ludwig's Twitch and YouTube channels, the Mogul Moves Twitch channel, and Red Bull's Twitch. Last year's inaugural edition was also streamed by numerous other streamers, including those who participated in the various events, so readers can check the schedule of their favorite influencers to see if they will be livestreaming the action from the comforts of their homes.

Who is participating in Ludwig's Streamer Games 2025?

So far, the captains of the eight teams have been announced, and these creators will sit down and draft the other influencers they want to bring in. Each side will have five members, with each of them representing their squad across a series of unique events. Teams can earn points based on their performance across two days to determine their ranking and who takes home the gold.

The eight captains are:

The remaining participants' names will be revealed once the captains have sat down and drafted their teams, alongside the list of events.

One thing is for sure: fans are going to see many more star names join the list and prove further why the trend of creators hosting in-person gatherings is growing. After all, more and more fans are seeking authentic and interactive experiences beyond the screen, and an event like the Streamer Games does exactly that.

What happened at Ludwig's Streamer Games 2024?

The maiden edition featured some of livestreaming's foremost North American creators competing in traditional track and field, but with some changes to keep things exciting. Held over three days, it was won by Team Red Bull, a squad featuring Ludwig, Joseph "Mang0" Marquez, Grace "iamfallfromgrace" Short, and Lachlan "Lachlan" Power.

Apart from winning the entire thing, Ludwig also managed to be the event's most popular streamer across the 13 hours of broadcasting time. His livestream on YouTube Live fetched just over 58,000 peak online viewers, making it one of his most popular broadcasts ever on the red platform.

It's safe to say that, one year in, the Streamer Games has created quite a lot of buzz. Led by some of the most popular video game personalities, it has already become a fan-favorite event, thanks to the implementation of both traditional sports disciplines and a few other quirky ones that lean more toward the entertainment side of things.
