Athletes and celebrities often come together for in-person charity events, whilst popular streamers have often done subathons and 24-hour streams. Lately, these two groups have been working together more, combining their reach for good causes.
Recently, the charity football event 'Match for Hope 2025' took place in Qatar, featuring top influencers and football stars. The goal was to raise money for non-profits that improve access to education for underprivileged children worldwide. The event received generous donations and attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers during its live broadcast.

They were joined by soccer stars like Thierry Henry, Andrés Iniesta, David Silva, Alessandro Del Piero, Mubarak Mustafa, and Andrea Pirlo.
