The proceedings for Miss Universe Thailand began in July and Anntonia Porsild, representing her province of Nakhon Ratchasima, made her way through the various events before being crowned the ultimate Miss Universe Thailand 2023. Other preliminary events were streamed on the TPNG YouTube channel but these were unable to reach the popularity of the final competition.
Compared to the 2022 competition, the event saw an overall improvement in viewership metrics. The 2022 Miss Universe Thailand final competition was only able to reach 260.8K Hours Watched, through a reduced 1 hour and 25-minute broadcast. The event did receive 184K Average Viewers throughout the broadcast, not too much fewer than the 2023 counterpart, but viewership reached a peak at only 263K concurrent viewers. Ultimately, the 2023 final competition received over 200K more concurrent viewers at its peak.

All other broadcasters listed, excluding ABS-CBN Entertainment, were covering last year’s Miss Universe pageant, as it bled over into January of this year.
The official Miss Universe YouTube channel received a peak concurrent viewers figure of 909.8K during the 71st Miss Universe preliminary competition. Their second stream registered within the top-5 most popular streams for Miss Universe this year was covering the 71st National Costume Show. JKN18 was one of the many Thai broadcasters covering the final competition of the 71st pageant.
Coming into this year properly and the 72nd pageant, both TPNG and ABS-CBN Entertainment covered the final competition of the regional events for Miss Universe. TPNG, as covered, was broadcasting the Thailand final competition, but ABS-CBN covered the Miss Universe Philippines Grand Coronation Night.
The Miss Universe Philippines was also hugely popular this year, as Michelle Dee of Makati was crowned as the official representative of the Phillippines for the Miss Universe 2023 competition. The event not only reached a peak concurrent viewers figure of 544K fans but also accumulated just short of 1.5M hours of watch time throughout its 5-hour broadcast. Second is Uni Network’s broadcast for the final show of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022. The stream received 494K concurrent viewers at peak and heavily outperformed the final show of Miss Universe Thailand 2022. Interestingly, the Vietnam pageant is yet to take place this year, with it scheduled for September. The Miss Universe Vietnam show may just yet overthrow the Miss Universe Thailand 2023’s final show in terms of broadcast viewership.
