Top 5 Games to Play on Stream with Viewers

Top 5 Games to Play on Stream with Viewers
Share:

Streamers normally stream for a long period of hours, and they need to always find ways to keep their public entertained and engaged. This is even more important for streamers that play competitive games such as League of Legends, Valorant, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and in general any type of game where you can have a prolonged queue.

While in the queue, streamers still have to find ways to make their stream entertaining, and that encourages viewers to stick around. Some interact with their chat, answering questions or just talking about a random topic, but some use that time to play some mini-games. This way the streamer is still playing, and providing entertainment for his viewers, while he is in the queue for his main game.

Wormate.io

Wormate.io is one of the most popular mini-games, especially in Asia, with many Asian streamers playing the game while they are waiting to find a League of Legends ranked game. In high elo the queue time is even bigger, so players really need to have something to entertain themselves with, and Wormate.io is perfect for that.

It's a calm game, and not many people will get nervous or tilt when playing Wormate.io. However, you will still find some very funny clips of streamers losing their calm while playing the game.

The concept of the game is an easy one. You start as a small worm and need to consume food in order to grow your worm. Once you are big enough you will be able to trap other worms, which are controlled by the players, and kill them. Eliminating the players, and forcing them to start from ground zero.

Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends

Another very popular mini-game is Pogostuck: Rage With Your Friends. Just like Wormate.io it's used by streamers from all around the world to kill time, while they are waiting to leave the queen from whatever game they are playing.

The game is about climbing a mountain on a pogo stick, with friends or strangers from all around the globe. It sounds easy, but it's a very hard game to complete. It's a great mini-game to play since it's very entertaining, especially for the viewer. It will for sure generate some funny clips of frustrated streamers who got stuck in a specific part of the game.

Jump King

Jump King is one of the most popular mini-games streamers play. The game was released in 2019, and since then became one of the go-to games for creators to play during their long queue times. Popular creators such as loltyler1, and Faker have played the game many times while they are waiting to find a game in League of Legends.

The game is a platforming video game that was developed by Nexile. In Jump King, the players are a King who has to reach the top platform in order to find "the legendary Smoking Hot Babe". It's a very difficult game to complete. The players need to perform the correct jump or otherwise, they might fall back to where they started. A series of well-timed and successful jumps can be undone by just one mistake, making it a very nerve-racking game. You really need to have a strong mental to play this mini-game, otherwise, it will probably easily tilt you.

Poly Bridge 2

Poly Bridge 2 is also a very popular mini-game. The game is a bridge-building simulation-puzzle game, created by indie studio Dry Cactus. Just like the name indicates the game is about building bridges. It's probably the calmest game on this list, and it's perfect for the streamers to keep their viewers entertained. Streamers can also easily interact with their chat while playing, which is another positive point of this mini-game.

The game has more than 100 campaign levels, and the streamers can also download new levels from the steam workshop. Poly Bridge contains a sandbox mode where streams can give wings to their creativity, and build many different bridges.

Whose Avatar is That?

Whose Avatar is That? is a new mini-game released by Stream Charts and has a very simple concept. The players will be shown the streamer's avatar and four nicknames. Then they will have to guess it correctly, if they do they earn 100 points. Only one mistake is allowed, if you fail to guess the streamer a second time the game will end. Every five streamers the difficulty will be increased.

Similar to  "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?", you have two lifelines, the "50:50" where two of the incorrect answers will be removed, and "WHO IS THAT?!" where the player will get the correct answer. By guessing as many avatars as possible the player will have a chance to get on the leaderboard and win fantastic prizes.

It's a perfect game for streamers to play while they are in a long queue, and promotes interaction with the viewers since they can help the streamer get the correct answer. ‘Whose Avatar is That?’ is also a very relaxing game, but one that forces you to think, and helps you develop a good memory.
