Most popular Twitch teams in August 2021

Most popular Twitch teams in August 2021
Share:

August has just ended, which means it's time to sum up the results of the month in streaming. In the latest article, Streams Charts talked about the most popular communities of esports teams on Twitch, and in this one — about the communities of streamers.

Disclaimer. The rating is based on the sum of hours that viewers have spent on channels’ broadcasts during the month. Communities of esports organizations like Luminosity, TSM and G2 Esports were not included. Read a separate article about top Twitch communities of esports teams in August.

As in recent months, the streamer association G FUEL again became the leader of the ranking. Despite a 5% drop in the number of HW (43.2M in August), the community confidently topped the list with 41.2M HW (in July it was 43.2M).

A small decline can be attributed to a drop in HW for G FUEL's key streamers — Ramee, TrainwreckstvShivFPS and Swagg. In August, they lost from 5% to 65% of Hours Watched compared to July, but still made it to the top 5 team streamers. Summit1g became the leader of GFUEL, gaining 77% more HW than a month earlier (7.5M HW in August).

The Loaded community came in second with 28M Hours Watched — 6% less than in July (29.9M HW for the month). Though they lag far behind G FUEL, in August, Loaded streamers were on the air for only 5.1K hours, and the ranking leaders — 41K hours (800% longer).

The third place went to the channels of the company Riot Games with 23.8M HW. In July it was in fourth place with 20M HW (16% less). This growth was driven by the completion of the League of Legends summer splits. According to their results, almost all the participants of the World Championship 2021, the main championship of the discipline this year, became known.

The United Talent Agency (UTA) streamer community, whose participants generated 22.4M Hours Watched in August, came in fourth place. The association indicator was strongly influenced by the content maker NICKMERCS, who scored 11.6M HW for the month against 4M in July (190% more).

The streamer team of the Corsair gaming equipment and peripherals brand rounds out the top 5 of the ranking. They got 19.4M Hours Watched. Notably, it took the team 99 content makers and 12K hours on the air to gain this figure, while Loaded participants scored almost 30M HW with the help of 38 streamers, spending almost 7K hours less on the air.

The July list of the most popular communities on Twitch also includes One True King streamers (18.4M HW), representatives of the Spanish agency Vizz (17.9M HW), DreamSMP maincrafters (15.5M HW) and Chang Gang members representing the criminal group of the same name on the NoPixel RP server in GTA V (15.1M HW). The last place was taken by the CS:GO Pro Player Streams community channels (14.9M HW).
