The top 10 most popular Twitch teams of December 2022 includes several associations of streamers, which are very rare to be included in it. In a new Streams Charts article, we will tell you about the changes of this ranking in the last month of the year.
Due to the absence of esports tournaments, all studios and tournament operators, including ESL and Intel Extreme Masters, dropped out of the Top 10 most watched Twitch teams at the end of December. Tribo Gaules, the content of which is mainly based on CS:GO tournaments, also left the Top.
Loaded returned to first place with nearly 21 million Hours Watched. G FUEL is in second place, just 3.7% behind the leader by the key metric. Corsair, OTK, Twitch Ambassadors and Any Means Possible are also in the Top 10 for the second month in a row. The latter, however, amassed 36% fewer HW than in November.
GG Talent Group, an agency that promotes streamers and events, is the newcomer to the Top 10 most watched Twitch teams of the month. The efforts of 63 creators increased the HW total of the association by 25% in December, which helped it to take fifth place in the ranking.
ANZ BitFest made it into the Top 10 Twitch teams for the first time, mostly thanks to the Australian streamer Pestily, who accumulated 75% of the association's HW. At the same time, the team itself saw a 161% increase over the month. This community includes streamers from Australia and New Zealand, who have teamed up to grow together as part of the ANZ BitFest virtual festival.
Parable is another newcomer to the Top 10, which includes Korean streamers, mostly Vtubers. The most popular of these is 우왁굳 (woowakgood), amassing nearly 42% of the team's HW. Vizz, which includes only ibai and Rubius, is also back into the Top 10 most watched associations of streamers for the first time in a long period — it is the smallest team in the Top.
