Esports fans watched CS:GO, Valorant, League of Legends and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments the most in Q3 2022. Streams Charts editorial staff has summed up the last months and listed the ten most watched esports broadcast channels on all platforms.
ESL_CSGO became the most watched channel in Q3 of the year, with more than 27.1 million Hours Watched accumulated in three months. The total duration of the broadcast for the period amounted to almost 1.8K hours, or almost 75 days. We should remind you that in the period from July to September, ESL_CSGO channel broadcast IEM Cologne 2022, ESL Pro League Season 16 and other tournaments.
Second most popular channel is the one of the Brazilian streamer Gaules, who mostly streams esports events: he regularly covers the matches of his countrymen in various shooters. He accumulated 26.7 million HW in 2.1K hours of Airtime. Gaules also mostly streamed CS:GO tournaments, including ESL Pro League Season 16, IEM Cologne 2022, ESL Challenger Melbourne 2022 and IEM Road to Rio 2022. In addition, he covered several Brazilian team games in Six Berlin Major 2022 on his channel.
Third place goes to the Valorant channel which covered the entire Valorant esports season, including the qualifiers and official broadcasts of the VCT 2022 tournaments: Stage 2 Masters Copenhagen and Valorant Champions 2022. In total, the channel racked up 20.9 million HW in 730 hours of Airtime over three months.
The official LCK_Korea channel ranks fourth. Korean regional League of Legends broadcasts accumulated more than 17.5 million HW in Q3. The game between T1 and Gen.G in the LCK Summer 2022 finals reached the peak viewership activity. League of Legends: Wild Rift and 2022 World Championship games were streamed on the same channel.
The Top 5 is rounded out by Vietnam's Liên Quân Mobile eSports — Garena YouTube channel, which broadcasted Arena of Glory Winter 2022 tournament matches. The total Airtime over the quarter was 530 hours. Viewers of the channel accumulated nearly 16.3 million HW in that time.
The French channel otplol_ on League of Legends ranks sixth. Over the past three months it has the most Airtime among the channels in the Top 10 — more than 2.2K hours. At the same time, it amassed almost 14.6 million HW. It should be noted that otplol_ broadcasted the LEC, LCK, LFL, European Masters summer seasons matches, as well as the Worlds 2022 first days games.
Seventh place goes to MPL Indonesia's YouTube channel, which accumulated 13.6 million HW in just 107 hours of Airtime over the quarter (the lowest number among the channels in the Top 10). The channel covered MPL Indonesia Season 10 matches in Indonesian. It should be recalled that this is the most popular regional league in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. Next to MPL Indonesia is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Official, which broadcasts the same league, but in English. This channel got 12.7 million HW in Q3.
Last two places in the Top 10 are taken by channels of regional leagues LEC and LCS in League of Legends. They accumulated 12.1 million and 11.3 million HW, respectively. It is important to note that LEC was on air for 261 hours in that time, and LCS — for over 400 hours.
