Even in the New Year, streamers don't forget about their audience and create special content for subscribers before and during the holidays. Streams Charts analyzed broadcasts of the past week to find out how streamers celebrated the new year and who attracted the most viewers.

Disclaimer: The ranking is based on the Peak Viewers number and was compiled for the period from December 28, 2021 to January 3, 2022. Each streamer in the top corresponds to one broadcast, which means that duplications were excluded.

The most popular New Year's holidays’ stream was a broadcast from Spanish content creator Ibai. He attracted 801K Peak Viewers. Ibai set up his own studio and discussed the events of the past year as well as wished viewers a Happy New Year together with popular Spanish content creators.

In second place was TheGrefg, the Spaniard who ran a subscriptions marathon. He was on air for 30 days until December 31, and his marathon reached its peak on December 29 with 252K viewers in the midst of the broadcast. The Spaniard Rubius was also in the top position. On December 29 together with the streamers Elded, Carola and Reborn he held an intellectual marathon and raffled off 5,000 euros between the participants. The tournament was watched by 151K Peak Viewers.

The Australian Pestily (246K Peak Viewers) and RedOpz (161K Peak Viewers) also made it into the rankings thanks to Escape from Tarkov, the developers of which again pleased fans with a traditional New Year event: players received gifts for watching the category on Twitch, which affected both the streamer statistics, and the position of the game in the Twitch rankings.

Russian content creators and TikTok stars were not left out. They began to gain popularity on the platform. On December 29 n3koglai (he has 6.4 million subscribers on TikTok) held a co-stream with Buster (one of the most popular CIS streamers) and Ivan Zolo 2004 (2.6 million subscribers on TikTok). They had a casual conversation with the audience and gathered 214K Peak Viewers.

It should be noted that there was a broadcast by Trainwreckstv as well. Tyler was giving away money to the viewers on December 31st during his live stream, and the total sum was 1 million dollars! He didn't announce the big giveaway in advance (so he lost some viewers), but 37K people subscribed to his channel during the broadcast.
