During the night spanning November 30 to December 1, the Esports Awards 2023 ceremony unfolded. This event not only celebrated the finest individuals within the esports industry but also bestowed recognition upon the most noteworthy content creators from the preceding year.
The prestigious Streamer of the Year award went to the Mexican streamer, Samy Rivers_gg Rivera. Rivera, recognized as one of the most-watched Twitch streamers in 2023, secured the coveted statuette, surpassing several renowned content creators. Notable nominees included Kai Cenat, Blaire QTCinderella, Alexandre Gaules Borba, and, of course, Ibai Llanos, who had clinched this category for the previous three years.
Apart from the primary category, awards were presented to noteworthy content creators in the esports realm. The title of Esports Personality of the Year was bestowed upon Jeremy Disguised Toast Wang, a seasoned figure in Twitch streaming. In 2023, Wang ventured into esports actively, founding the organization "Disguised," which delved into various games such as Valorant, League of Legends, Apex Legends, and Teamfight Tactics throughout the year.
Another award went to S8ul Esports, one of India's premier gaming and content organizations owned by two of the country's top streamers Naman MortaL Mathur and Animesh Thug Agarwal. The content team led by them clinched the Esports Content Creator of the Year award.
