Popular Russian-resided Twitch streamers actively join Trovo. They do so in fear that the service might stop working in the country & due to payment issues they have with Twitch, as Amazon-owned company reportedly disabled the ability for them to withdraw money from the platform after the tragic war in Ukraine started. The same problems were reported by Patreon & OnlyFans users from Russian Federation.
Only of the first Russian streamers to create Trovo account was popular video game blogger Maddyson, who claimed he’s not going to stream during the tragic events in Ukraine. In March, several other big names in Russian streaming joined Tencent-owned platform, including Gensyxa, Mokrivskyi, Melharucos, Yuuechka, Paradeev1ch,
Pch3lk1n, Fasoollka, DmitryLixxx, and others.
Melharucos was among the ones that started streaming on Trovo in recent days. As for now he was on air for one and a half hours and amassed 1.8K Hours Watched as his Average Viewers count got to 1.15K spectators. These values are approximately four time lower than that he had on Twitch.
Yet so far the overall stats by Russian language on the platform reside at about the same level as since the beginning of the year. The reason is that the majority of creators are yet to host their first streams on Trovo. As for February, over 500 Russian-speaking channels streamed on the service. Advanced Trovo statistics are available to our PRO users.
As for payment on Trovo, one of the last initiatives of the platform was the introduction of Trovo 500 partner system. It helps even new streamers to earn money, as the sum mainly depends on how much time viewers in total spent watching the creator. More about the Trovo 500 terms for March 2022 can be found on platform’s official site.
