Twitch Rivals held the Squidcraft Games tournament on January 19-24. The tournament was based on the Netflix series 'Squid Game', adapted into Minecraft by modder Komanche. There were 150 Spanish-speaking content creators, including Ibai, Rubius and Auronplay, who took part in the competition.

The event attracted 1 million Peak Viewers on the first day and more than doubled that number in the finals! You can find full viewership statistics of the tournament here. In this article, we will tell you about the achievements of the participants.

• 2,2 Peak Viewers watched the Squidcraft Games, which makes it the most watched Twitch Rivals event in the history of the series.

• In the final of the event, Joaquín "Elxokas" Domínguez's channel had 1,2 million Peak Viewers. This made Elxokas the third most popular streamer on Twitch in Peak Viewers ever. First and second places went to TheGrefg (2,4 million Peak Viewers) and ibai (1,5 million Peak Viewers), respectively.

Elxokas' channel attracted the most new followers among all the participants during the tournament. About 455K people followed the streamer's channel.

Elxokas’ channel had the highest number of Average Viewers of all the participants — 220K spectators. Auronplay and juansguarnizo were also in the top 3 by this metric.

Rubius reached 11 million followers during the competition and is in the top 3 Twitch streamers for all-time follows. Ninja (17,3 million followers) tops the list, while Auronplay (11,4 million followers) comes in second.

• As of January 25, Auronplay has the highest number of Hours Watched for Minecraft in the past two years — about 65 million Hours Watched.

• The most popular Spanish-language clip over the past seven days was that of NimuVT leaving the tournament. It got 34,1K views.

• Among the top 10 streamers during the Squidcraft Games, Auronplay (603K PV), OllieGamerz (483K PV), juansguarnizo (410K PV), Luzu (297k), ElSpreen (203K PV), ernesBarbeQ (162K PV) and AriGameplays (143K PV) set new channel records for Peak Viewers.

OllieGamerz won the tournament. Not only did he win $100K, but he also attracted a new audience. Compared to the start of the final day (January 24) before the peak of the stream, the number of viewers on his broadcast increased by 2023%! The channel reached 483K Peak Viewers thanks to the fact that it was hosted by many eliminated players, who automatically transferred their audiences.
