David TheGrefg Martínez reached 10 million followers on Twitch. The 25 -year-old showman, streamer and content creator is the eighth (and fourth among Spaniards) to achieve this mark, and closest one to it is now pokimane.
Ibai Ibai Llanos was the last creator to hit 10 million followers on Twitch at the end of April. In 2022, two streamers from Canada, Michael shroud Grzesiek and Félix xQc Lengyel, also reached this milestone. Now Canadian-Moroccan streamer Imane Pokimane Anys is the closest one to a significant figure, which has 9.2 million followers. The top ten channels with the largest number of followers is closed by Thomas Chance sodapoppin Morris with 8.7 million people. Current leaderboard looks as follows:
Note that the top ten most followed Twitch creators include only representatives of Spain and North America (USA, Canada). The leader is the American creator Tyler Ninja Blevins with almost 18.3 million followers: he was the first to break the bar of 10 million: this happened in August 2018.
TheGrefg is one of the most popular internet celebrities of Spanish streaming & vlogging; he has over 17.6 million subscribers on YouTube. From January 2021 to June 2022 he held the Twitch record for concurrent viewership among channels: 2.4 million Peak Viewers during presentation of his own Icon skin in Fortnite. The record was subsequently broken by Martinez's compatriot, Ibai.
