Streams Charts continues summing up the results of September 2021 on Twitch. In this new article, you'll find out about the most popular esports communities and their results on the platform over the past month.

Disclaimer. The ranking is based on the number of Hours Watched, spent by the audience on Twitch broadcasts of the streamers of esports organizations over the course of the month – without taking into account the esports viewership statistics.

It is noteworthy that the same organizations that were represented in August remained in the ranking in September. Only their positions in the top 10 changed.

As in the previous month, the leader of the ranking was Luminosity Gaming. In September, the team had 21.9 million Hours Watched (17% less than in August). This drop is due to the reduced activity of the most popular streamer of the team xQcOW, who had 15.7 million Hours Watched (18% less than in the previous month).

NRG Esports jumped from fourth to second place with 17.2 million Hours Watched, which is 20% more than in August. NRG Esports streamers with the biggest number of Hours Watched were sodapoppin with 3.8 million Hours Watched and NRG_Hamlinz with 2.5 million Hours Watched, as well as aceu with 1.2 million Hours Watched, who racked up 4.6 times more Hours Watched in September than in August.

Third place was retained by Team SoloMid, which lacked only 0.3 million Hours Watched to catch up with NRG Esports. The team had 16.9 million Hours Watched, and its most productive member was again TSM_ImperialHal, who had 3.4 million Hours Watched (60% more than in August).

Cloud9 and LOUD closed the top 5 with 10.2 million Hours Watched and 9.9 million Hours Watched respectively. Despite the reduced activity of C9 members compared to August, it managed to outpace its rival due to the low results of LOUD's main content maker loud_coringa. In September, he had 31% less Hours Watched than the month before.

Despite the drop in statistics, loud_coringa had 82% of the total LOUD  Hours Watched. In Cloud9, this statistic is divided more equally among the main streamers of the team, with the top 3 members who had 17.6%, 12.7%, and 10.6% of the total Hours Watched respectively.

The second half of the ranking was closed by DeToNator, Team LiquidT1 and FaZe Clan. Each of these teams had over 9 million Hours Watched, as well as Heretics with 7.5 million Hours Watched. Compared to September, only Team Liquid among the named teams showed a 4.5% increase in Hours Watched.

FaZe Clan had the biggest drop in stats in September. It is due to the low activity of their main streamer NICKMERCS. In August he had 11.6 million Hours Watched (65% of the total Hours Watched), but this time — only 3 million Hours Watched — 74% less than in August.
