Last week’s edition of Twitch Rivals featured a $50,000 Minecraft competition titled Twitch Rivals Minecraft Minigames February, which is the third event in the Twitch Rivals Minecraft Minigames series.
The unique event format saw 20 teams of four streamers competing over five different Minecraft minigames specifically curated and designed for the event. The tasks included Advancement Bingo, Archery, Mob Raiders, Triathlon and Temple of the Elements: Earth.
The competition featured multiple well-known content creators including FalseSymmetry, ElSpreen, TheGrefg and hannaxxhrose.
In 4 hours of Air Time, the third edition of Twitch Rivals Minecraft Minigames generated 432.8K Hours Watched and attracted 103.88K Average Viewers. The event peaked at 117.27K concurrent viewers.
While it was TheGuill84’s team (TheGuill84, JimmyBoyyy, Magicknup, MathoX) that came out victorious, the most popular streamer of the event was ElSpreen, who accumulated 45.5K Peak Viewers and 159.1K Hours Watched. The second was TheGrefg, followed by BastiGHG.
Compared to the previous edition of the series, which took place in January, the most recent tournament worsened its concurrent viewership by 8.4%, while its average viewership was 4% lower. The HW count increased by 14.2% due to longer Air Time.
When it comes to language distribution, The dominant language among the audience of Twitch Rivals Minecraft Minigames February was Spanish, which accounted for 58.5% of the total Hours Watched accumulated by the event. The next was English with 17%, followed by Russian, German, French and Dutch.
Even though the audience of the recent Twitch Rivals Minecraft Minigames event slightly decreased compared to its previous edition, the Twitch Rivals series continues to maintain notable viewership numbers that are comparable with other tournaments within the series, for example, the recent Twitch Rivals Apex Legends NA Showdown or Twitch Rivals Fortnite Valentines Duos.
