In a surprising move, VTuber agency VShojo parted ways with two of its top creators at the end of June: Zentreya and GEEGA. Both streamers ranked among VShojo’s five most-watched channels during the first half of 2025.
The exact reasons behind Zentreya and GEEGA’s departure from VShojo haven’t been disclosed, but based on their social media posts, the split seems to have been on good terms. Both VTubers will keep their IP rights and continue streaming independently. Fans have little to worry about: aside from their merch being pulled from the official VShojo store and the possibility that future collabs with current VShojo talents may no longer happen.
Earlier this spring, VShojo also parted ways with VTuber MataraKan. Today, she has continued her career as an independent streamer.
When it comes to VShojo’s biggest star, ironmouse continues to lead the pack. In 2025, she tops the agency in total Hours Watched, Average Viewers, and peak viewership. As of this article’s publication, ironmouse remains one of the top five most-watched VTubers in the world.
In the first half of 2025, VShojo secured a spot among the top five most-watched VTuber agencies worldwide. By total Hours Watched, it ranks just behind NIJISANJI, both the Japanese and English branches of Hololive, and the streamer collective VSPO!
In H1 2025, streams from Zentreya, GEEGA, and MataraKan accounted for approximately 33.7% of VShojo’s total watch hours — a significant share of the agency’s overall viewership. The departure of VShojo’s top streamers could impact the agency’s standing in the global VTuber livestreaming rankings moving forward. You can keep track of those rankings here.
