YouTube remains one of the top streaming services globally today, which is why finding success there can be such a game-changer for content creators. One good way to see how successful online personalities have become is the number of subscribers they have accrued on their channels.
That is why the likes of MrBeast and PewDiePie have become such megastars of the industry. The fame they built from their content on the red platform has made them household names not only in their countries but globally, so much so that they have become celebrities in their own rights.
This is also why organizations take such pains to ace their social media games, as the kind of videos they put out can lead to a massive boost in their popularity and the number of subscribers they accumulate. One such name that has recently been killing it online is WWE, which became the latest entrant to the 100M subscribers club.

As a result of this achievement, the company has become only the tenth channel overall to cross this mark, a mark of the truly global appeal that the product possesses currently. It has also become the first-ever sports firm to break the barrier of 100M subscribers on the Google-owned video-sharing website.
It was only recently that the pro wrestling behemoth's YouTube channel recorded its most popular live broadcast yet. The WrestleMania XL Kickoff press conference from Las Vegas on February 9 hit 305.7K Peak Viewers and 222.4K Average Viewers, both new records that handily erased the previous marks set at the Survivor Series: WarGames post-show press conference on November 26 last year.
It was helped by the fact that newly-villainous Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, possibly the most recognizable movie star today and one of all-time great WWE performers, appeared to continue his storyline build to the 'Show of Shows.' The segment also involved WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, his challenger Cody Rhodes, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
The company has been on a renewed rise since the ouster of former Chairman Vince McMahon and the creative takeover by his son-in-law, the former WWE Champion himself, Paul "Triple H" Levesque. The promotion has been notching record financial and viewership figures since the middle of July last year; this subscriber milestone is only the latest affirmation of its recent renaissance in the eyes of fans and return to popular mainstream appeal.
