WWE's Main Event moves from YouTube to Rumble: What the shift could mean for Rumble's sports push

WWE’s weekly series Main Event will move from YouTube to Rumble on October 14, 2026. New episodes are scheduled for Wednesdays at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT on Rumble’s WWE page, as well as its connected TV and mobile apps.

The move gives Rumble an established weekly WWE property as the platform expands its sports offering. Before Main Event launches there, WWE’s YouTube activity provides a useful benchmark for the scale of its livestreaming audience. After October 14, the main question will be whether the show can generate sustained viewing on Rumble.

Across WWE's YouTube channels, Streams Charts has recorded more than 13 million Hours Watched so far in 2026. The figure covers WWE’s broader livestreaming activity rather than Main Event alone, so it should be treated as a platform-level benchmark rather than an estimate of the show’s audience.

In the United States, YouTube’s Sports category recorded 187.9 million Hours Watched from January 1 to September 24, ranking seventh among non-gaming categories in Streams Charts data. 

Since debuting on Ion Television in 2012, Main Event has also been distributed through Hulu, WWE Network and Peacock before moving to YouTube at the start of 2026. The series features performers from WWE's Raw, SmackDown and NXT brands.

For Rumble, the real test will come after launch: whether an established WWE series can generate sustained weekly viewing rather than a short-lived spike around its arrival.

After the October launch, week-by-week performance will provide a clearer picture of Main Event’s contribution to Rumble’s sports audience. Using consistent reporting periods and comparable metrics will also make it possible to track whether WWE’s broader YouTube activity changes alongside the move.
