ARC Raiders made a huge splash during its launch week, quickly becoming one of the most-watched new titles on Twitch. The game’s mix of stunning visuals, high-stakes combat, and co-op gameplay attracted thousands of curious players and streamers eager to dive into Embark Studios’ ambitious sci-fi shooter.
At the moment, ARC Raiders stands as the most-watched game release of 2025 — and it’s unlikely that any new title will dethrone it before the year ends.
ARC Raiders is a free-to-play third-person extraction shooter set in a dystopian sci-fi world overrun by mechanical invaders known as the ARC. The game was developed by the Korean-Japanese studio Embark Studios (part of Nexon).
In ARC Raiders, players team up in squads to explore vast open environments, scavenge for valuable resources, and fight off relentless robotic enemies while trying to extract safely. Blending cooperative tactics with survival elements, the game challenges players to balance risk and reward — making every mission unpredictable and every encounter intense.

ARC Raiders enjoyed a successful open beta and a strong launch day on streaming platforms. As predicted, the hype around the game has lasted well beyond release, helping ARC Raiders maintain impressive performance and visibility across major livestreaming platforms.
In its first week after launch, ARC Raiders streams racked up over 35.6 million hours watched, making it the most successful game debut of 2025 in terms of viewership. The game’s high viewership was also boosted by Twitch Drops, which allowed viewers to earn exclusive emotes and keychains simply by watching streams.

During its launch week, over 71,500 unique channels streamed ARC Raiders. Twitch dominated the scene, accounting for roughly 76% of all watch hours. The platform also topped the charts in peak viewership, attracting more than 374,000 concurrent viewers in the game’s category.
From October 30 to November 5, ARC Raiders ranked as the most-watched game on Twitch, outperforming heavyweights like League of Legends, Grand Theft Auto V, and Minecraft. The top ARC Raiders channels by watch time were all Twitch streamers — with Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek, the Canadian ex-pro and genre enthusiast, taking the #1 spot. Japanese streamer Junichi “kato_junichi0817” Kato followed closely behind in second place.

When it comes to peak concurrent viewership, Kick streamer Ahmed “sxb” Alqahtani from Saudi Arabia took the top spot. His ARC Raiders streams drew over 60,200 simultaneous viewers, making him the game's most-watched creator at its peak.
