Brawl Stars is a mobile MOBA shooter game developed by Finnish company Supercell, who has also worked on Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and other famous mobile gaming titles. The Brawl Stars YouTube channel recently went live to announce a new SpongeBob Squarepants collaboration with in-game integration, and the announcement stream reached over 1,000,000 concurrent live viewers.

Supercell are well known for crafting some of the world’s most popular mobile gaming titles, and their “Brawl Talk” streams are particularly popular. These broadcasts are an opportunity for the game developers to discuss new updates, changes, and more with the game’s player base. The new SpongeBob Squarepants collaboration begins with “Spongebob Season”, an entire seasonal event based around the beloved children’s cartoon.

Earlier this year, the Brawl Stars account held its most popular broadcast ever, reaching 1.06M Peak Viewers. Mutations are special powers which can enhance a player’s characters, and sometimes even entirely new abilities. The announcement was Brawl Stars’ most popular moment of 2024, so far.

Brawl Stars are continuing to grow and reach a wider audience; so far in 2024, the Brawl Stars YouTube channel not only reached 1M PV for the first time, but managed to reach this milestone twice. As it stands, three of the channel’s top 5 most popular broadcasts all come from 2024, and usually their end-of-year December Brawl Talk is especially well-watched. It seems likely, that this December, Brawl Stars will host another one of their famous Brawl Talks, which might be one of their most popular broadcasts ever.
