On December 26, the Teatro Colón hosted the annual Coscu Army Awards ceremony for Argentine streamers, organized by Martin «Coscu» Perez Di Salvo. In a new Streams Charts article, we will tell you about the winners in different categories and viewership statistics of the event.
A joint stream of Argentine footballers Sergio Agüero (SLAKUN10) and Lionel Messi was named Broadcast of the Year. Gaspi was named YouTuber of the Year, Arpaman was named Streamer of the Year in the Music category, and Oscu was named the Best Streamer among professional musicians.
Forg1 was awarded CS:GO Streamer of the Year, while Suga was named Valorant Streamer of the Year, Gorilón — Fortnite Streamer of the Year, and Rengarsito — League of Legends Streamer of the Year. Unicornio was named Variety Streamer of the Year, while the football blogger Davoo Xeneize was named Discovery of the Year.
The main award of the ceremony, "Streamer of the Year", went to Iván ‘ElSpreen’ Buhajeruk. We should note that he also became the most popular Argentine content creator of 2022 on Twitch by a wide margin in terms of Hours Watched.
Coscu Army Awards 2022 Viewership Statistics
The ceremony was broadcast on Coscu's Twitch channel. It lasted for 7.5 hours and amassed more than 1.1 million Hours Watched with 147.3K Average Viewers. The event saw more than 203.5K Peak Viewers. Nearly 614.4K Unique Viewers visited the stream in total.
By comparison with the results of last year's ceremony, the Peak and Average Viewers numbers of Coscu Army Awards 2022 dropped by 35.9% and 43.5%, respectively. Compared to the 2020 event, the decline in these metrics is even greater — 48.4% and 56.3%, respectively. We can say that the ceremony has lost about 100K viewers for the second year in a row.
Nevertheless, the Coscu Army Awards 2022 broadcast ranked among the Top 3 streams on the Coscu channel and was quite successful in terms of chat activity. Over 54K viewers, 11.5% of Twitch's Authorized Viewers, sent at least one message in the chat. At the same time, each Coscu Army Awards 2022 chatterer wrote more than four messages on average throughout the broadcast. In addition, 31 Cheer chatterers sent a total of 58 Cheer messages, each of which yielded an average of 59 bits for Coscu.
