Dying Light 2: Stay Human was officially released on February 4, seven years after the release of the first installment. Several streamers on Twitch got pre-access to the game on February 3. Streams Charts analyzed whether the game's launch on the platform was successful and how it performed on marketplaces. We also compared its viewership stats with the first game of the series.
The second part of Dying Light tells the story of the ongoing war against zombies. But they are not the only problem for the society since the internal strife began within a settlement. The player will have to seek allies, explore the town and try to survive. Among the key gameplay features are an open world, dynamic change of day and night, and the fact that every action will have consequences.
Dying Light 2 made it to the top 4 Twitch categories in terms of Hours Watched on February 3. Viewers spent 4.5 million hours watching streamers in the category, and the Peak Viewers number of the category reached 383K spectators. As for streamers, CohhCarnage accumulated the most Hours Watched on February 3 — 321K HW. However, elxokas leads by the Peak Viewers — 48K concurrent spectators watched the stream.

The game also did not worsen the results over the weekend. From Feb 3 to Feb 6, the game remained the fourth in the Twitch ranking. The total number of hours watched was 16.5 million, and the peak viewership was 399K people.
