Popular American-Palestinian streamer Yousef Saleh ‘’Fousey’’ Erakat wrapped up a 31-day livestreaming marathon celebrating Ramadan. During this time, he gave up food, vaping, and in-person interactions, sticking to just water, black coffee, and electrolytes. Throughout the entire marathon, Fousey ran non-stop livestreams on his Kick channel, engaging with viewers and sharing the physical changes he was experiencing.
Fousey said that he didn’t prepare his body ahead of time for such a strict diet, which made the marathon a real test of his willpower.
“Just me and chat vs. my mind, pushing my limits mentally, spiritually, and emotionally” — Fousey via X.
Along with chatting with his viewers, Fousey also actively interacted with ChatGPT, which provided him with workout plans, daily challenges, and tasks to test his mental and physical endurance. After 31 straight days of livestreaming, Fousey shocked fans with his transformation — his body was noticeably more toned and sculpted.
Fousey's WATER FAST Marathon viewership statistics
During his March marathon, Fousey’s streams racked up almost 2.7 million hours of watch time. His Kick channel averaged 3,800 viewers, with a peak of 20,172 concurrent viewers. However, Fousey didn’t break his concurrent viewers record — which he reached during his IRL-subathon in August 2023, when he hit 81,863 concurrent viewers.
Thanks to his marathon, Fousey cracked the top 10 most-watched streamers on Kick for March 2025. He placed third in the IRL category, only behind influencercity and Paul ''iceposeidon'' Denino in watch hours. In the Just Sleeping category, he was the clear leader.
Recently, popular Ukrainian streamer Mykhailo ‘’Leb1ga’’ Lebiga held a similar marathon, promising not to end his stream until he lost 7 kilograms. During the marathon, he worked out, stuck to a diet, interacted with viewers and guests, commented on esports, and more. He achieved his goal by day 6.
