Most Active Channels by Hosts Made
Between July and September, SmallStreamersConnect had the most hosts made on Twitch, sending viewers to other streams more than 3.6K times. The channel surpasses its closest pursuer by nearly nine times. This is not surprising, since the SmallStreamersConnect community specializes in making hosts for beginning streamers and thus helping them gain an audience. In October, the SmallStreamersConnect channel got banned on Twitch: the reason for the blocking is unknown, but the owners have already sent an appeal to the administrators.
In second place in terms of hosts made is the Portuguese-language channel TvgNobrega — it made 417 hosts in Q3 2022. TvgNobrega mostly played Fortnite and has a lot of shared audience with the streamers of this "battle royale ''. TvgNobrega was frequently raided by Portuguese-speaking content creators and actively sent his viewers to other channels himself as well.
DJs' music channels, such as DJVadermixx, DJMoeOne, DJQueTheMixologist, djayYAMS and DjRichieRichDetroit, accounted for half of the Top 10 places by number of hosts made. Based on host and raid history, the DJ community on Twitch often sends viewers to each other from channel to channel. DJ streamers usually host small sessions for 2-3 hours and then send viewers to their colleagues.
Top 10 Channels by Number of Hosts from Other Channels
The leader in the number of hosts received in Q3 2022 is the channel of The Marine Mammal Center, an American volunteer center that rescues and rehabilitates marine mammals. The MarineMammalRescue channel received 767 hosts in three months. There is no particular trend in these hosts — they were made by a variety of streamers, regardless of gender and content topics, but most often by English- and Spanish-speaking influencers.
In second place is the DashDucks channel from the "Animals, Aquariums and Zoos" category. It has a 24-hour broadcast from a swimming pool with swans. The channel received 533 hosts in the quarter. Two other animal channels made it into the Top 10 — adorable_kittens, which broadcasts kittens, and TurtlesAndChill, which broadcasts an aquarium with turtles.
Third place in the number of hosts received goes to Amouranth, the most popular female Twitch streamer. Her channel got 412 hosts in three months. Most often, they were done by fans wishing to attract the attention of the content creator.
We should also mention VooDooSh, one of the most popular Russian-language streamers on Twitch. His channel received 215 hosts in Q32022.
Top 10 Biggest Hosts on Twitch in Q3 2022
Rubius made the biggest host in Q3 2022. He redirected more than 140.5K viewers to the channel of the Spanish streamer Luzu on one of his streams in July. This happened on the broadcast of the Karmaland Minecraft event.
The Spanish streamer ibai, who regularly redirected viewers to the official Spanish League LVPes channel on League of Legends, holds three places at once in the Top 10. This usually happened right after broadcasting his team's KOI matches. The biggest host was 113.4K viewers.
The popular Brazilian streamer loud_coringa also made it to the ranking with several hosts to his friends' channels with whom he plays GTA V. Among them are AlefTorrez, brkk and kahgouveiia. The biggest host was 103.8K viewers.
