How successful was Streamer Royale in terms of viewers?

How successful was Streamer Royale in terms of viewers?
Share:

On Saturday, May 28, one of the most popular female streamers in the world, Kaitlyn Amouranth Siragusa, finally held her biggest and most ambitious Twitch project called Streamer Royale. The event was attended by many top creators of the platform, and attracted thousands of viewers. Streams Charts tells about the results of the contest and how many people tuned in to watch the broadcast.

In mid-April, Amouranth stated that she plans to leave OnlyFans and focus on content for Twitch. At the same time, it was mentioned that she spent $400,000 on creating new content: and after some time, the Streamer Royale was announced (interestingly, the event was sponsored by Fansly, a direct competitor of OnlyFans).

Top streamers of Twitch were invited to the event, and although xQc did not end up attending, the list of participants was still quite impressive: Alinity, MoistCr1tikal, JustAMinx, PeachJars and many others. Creators took part in series of IRL challengers, where they were looking for flags in the foam pit, trying to throw each other off platforms with rubber sticks, and so on. According to the results of the challenges, Meowri won the competition, while Alluux and KittyPlays placed second and third, respectively.

The event was streamed exclusively on the Amouranth channel, and it can be called a relatively successful one in terms of viewership. In particular, the broadcast, which lasted more than five hours, reached an average audience of 25.1K concurrent viewers, which is a highest result among all Amouranth's streams.

Talking about peak concurrent audience of the event, which reached 31.4K people, then the stream turned out to be only the third most popular among all the broadcasts of Amouranth. Kaitlyn’s stream dated back to March 2021, when she broadcast from a hot tub, collected a little more PV, and the record holder is her ASMR broadcast from last year's June, which peaked at almost 34K concurrent viewers.

In general, the event received quite a large coverage, as it was watched by more than 275K unique Twitch viewers. But at the same time, the broadcast turned out to be only the third most popular among female streamers of the platform during the week: it was overtaken by pokimane and Russian streamer ekatze007 in terms of Peak Viewers.

In summary, it can be noted that Streamer Royale successfully kept the majority of the audience on the broadcast (the average value of the simultaneous audience was quite close to the Peak Viewers number), and also the broadcast of the event turned out to be one of the most successful in the history of the Amouranth channel. At the same time, Kaitlyn was outperformed by several other female streamers in terms of peak audience, and the overall reach could have been much larger if some other top Twitch creators attended the competition.
