Spanish streamer Ibai Llanos renewed the all-time Twitch record for Peak Viewers, reaching over 3.44M during his latest boxing event, La Velada del Año 3. The event took place on July 1 at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid, Spain.
The previous record of 3.35M also belonged to Ibai and was set last year, on June 25th, during the second edition of La Velada del Año. The 2023 event broke the record during the first match of the evening between creators Ampeter vs. Abraham Mateo (3.41M simultaneously).
Then the record was increased to 3 424 670 people, reached during QUEVEDO's live performance before the last evening match. The record increased again when the last event's fight between Coscu and Germán Garmendia started. In the end, 3 442 725 spectators watched La Velada del Año 3 on the peak.
