Popular American streamer Darren ‘’IShowSpeed’’ Watkins Jr is gearing up to launch his own premium YouTube show. According to Complex, the series, titled Speed Goes Pro, will center around sports. In each episode, IShowSpeed will take on professional athletes in a variety of challenges and competitions.

The Speed Goes Pro project has been made possible through a partnership between IShowSpeed, multimedia company OBB Media, and U.S. retailer DICK'S Sporting Goods. According to reports, IShowSpeed will serve as a brand ambassador for DICK'S, and this show marks their first — but certainly not their last — collaboration.

The Speed Goes Pro series will feature six episodes in total, with star guests including NFL legend Tom Brady (has won seven Super Bowls) and NBA icon Kevin Durant (four-time Olympic champion). The rest of the lineup remains under wraps — for now.

This isn’t IShowSpeed’s first venture into this kind of collaborative content. He previously teamed up with popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat on the Kai’n’Speed Show, an exclusive mini-series produced for Rumble. You can learn more about the show’s viewership stats here.

IShowSpeed is currently one of the most popular YouTube Live streamers in North America. With nearly 40 million subscribers, he seamlessly blends gaming content with IRL streams. Over the past year, he’s completed four travel streaming marathons across Europe, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and China. His most-watched broadcast took place in September 2024 during his trip to Indonesia, peaking at 1,043,028 live viewers.

It’s no surprise to IShowSpeed’s fans that Speed Goes Pro revolves around sports — he’s a huge sports fan himself. He regularly takes part in charity soccer matches like the Sidemen Charity Game and Match for Hope. He’s also faced off against pro athletes in other shows, including an episode with Jimmy ‘’MrBeast’’ Donaldson.
