American YouTuber Darren ''IShowSpeed'' Watkins Jr is set to return to Twitch after a four-year hiatus. He'll be back on the purple platform as part of his upcoming IRL tour across Europe, which kicks off on July 7.
IShowSpeed is one of the most vibrant streamers of today, an industry trendsetter and a global icon for younger audiences. Until recently, his primary platform was YouTube, where he has amassed 41 million subscribers and reached over a million Peak Viewers. It’s also where he frequently collaborates with top creators like Kai Cenat and features popular athletes and influencers. One of his signature formats is IRL content, where he travels to different countries and regions to meet fans in person.

While YouTube made him a global star, IShowSpeed actually got his start streaming on Twitch, before multiple bans forced him to switch platforms. In December 2021, his channel was suspended for two years following inappropriate remarks he made toward a girl during an e-dating stream with Adin Ross. Twitch classified his behavior as “sexual coercion or intimidation” and issued an indefinite ban. Although his channel was eventually unbanned in 2023, by that time, he had already found his footing and built a massive following on YouTube.
On July 7, 2025, IShowSpeed is kicking off a new IRL tour across Europe, as he revealed to fans on Twitter. Based on the promotional banner he shared, the trip will be streamed simultaneously on both YouTube and Twitch. It will be his first appearance on the purple platform since July 2021.
IShowSpeed’s exact plans for his upcoming European trip are still under wraps. While few details have been revealed, the promotional banner suggests he’ll be visiting at least 14 countries, including Spain, France, Poland, Turkey and Greeces. This marks his second European tour; his first tour took place during Euro 2024 and peaked at 309,400 concurrent viewers.
