Popular American streamer Kai Cenat has unveiled Streamer University, a new educational platform aimed at helping aspiring content creators build their careers. He shared the announcement on his X account (formerly Twitter).
Streamer University will feature a wide-ranging curriculum designed to equip students with the skills they need to grow their brands and succeed in the digital space. Courses will cover topics like acting, production, and business management.
According to Kai Cenat, the program will accept 150 students through an application process hosted on the official website. Tuition will be completely free, and participants will live together on a dedicated campus, though its exact location has not yet been revealed.
Kai has emphasized that Streamer University isn’t just for streamers, it’s open to content creators across all platforms. Some of the instructors may be major names in the industry. Back in February, Kai mentioned that he’d love to have Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson and Mark Rober teach a few of the courses.
Beyond the application launch, however, details about Streamer University are still limited. There’s no official word yet on when the program will begin, how long it will last, who the instructors will be, or what kind of applicants are most likely to be accepted. Still, the idea has already generated massive buzz among Kai’s fans, with some even joking that they’d apply just to be “gardeners” or “janitors” if it meant getting in.
Kai Cenat is unquestionably one of Twitch’s biggest stars right now. He leads the platform in average viewership and ranks among the top three streamers by peak concurrent viewers in Q1 2025. While he’s best known for his Just Chatting streams, Kai also runs marathon playthroughs of hit titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and Elden Ring.
In early 2025, Kai delivered a packed lineup of entertaining content across Twitch’s gaming and IRL categories. He livestreamed major sports and entertainment events like the WWE Royal Rumble, the Grammys, and the Super Bowl, hosted a four-day Batman Arkham marathon, teamed up with Darren ‘’IShowSpeed’’ Watkins Jr for a Fortnite stream, and kept fans engaged with plenty of other creative broadcasts.

One of the signature elements of Kai’s streams is his frequent celebrity guest appearances. Over time, he’s hosted stars like Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, Kevin Hart, Snoop Dogg, Soulja Boy, Kyrie Irving, Marshmello, and many more. Some of these guests might even share their personal stories with students at Streamer University.
