Kick in November 2023 — Amouranth slips as Jen Foxxx, N3on make merry

Kick in November 2023 — Amouranth slips as Jen Foxxx, N3on make merry

It's been a year of marginal gains for Kick in viewership, with the streaming service doing well to gradually improve its numbers. The same is true for its stats from November, where it either improved all its stats from the previous month or maintained a status quo that will go a long way in ringing in the new year on a positive note.

Looking at the numbers generated by all the essential stats on Kick across October 2023  Looking at the numbers generated by all the essential stats on Kick across November 2023

Most tellingly, its Average Viewers and Peak Viewers rose slightly after seeing a fall in October, which was especially worrying for the latter as it was a significant dip. Moreover, the Hours Watched count remained more or less the same, pointing to a growing familiarity with audiences and acceptance from viewers that its content creators are worth giving their time and energies to.

The amount of Active Channels, Average Channels, and Peak Channels also saw increases, and credit must go to the capture of big names like nickmercsxqctfueamouranth, and buddha for this heightened exposure the green platform is getting. Of course, the (re)explosion in popularity of Fortnite via its return to its OG season also drew in millions of viewers, so it has been a solid all-round effort in maintaining and improving on its recent progress.

Most-watched categories on Kick

Just Chatting retained its numero uno stats among categories on Kick, more or less maintaining its monthly stats and doing almost 106% better than the next-best entry. Speaking of second-best, Slots & Casino, too, continued its stranglehold on the runner-up spot, although it also saw a slight fall in its watch time by 6.08%.

Thanks to the amazing response to its newest update that takes it back to its much-adored roots, Fortnite has jumped to third from ninth place in October. Moreover, its recent, record-breaking Eminem concert that happened during 'The Big Bang' live event achieved the highest Twitch activity ever and propelled the purple platform to its 2023 peak.

Fourth is the podium regular Grand Theft Auto V (GTA), which has also received quite a lot of hype thanks to the impending arrival of the next installment (rumored to be between the springs of 2024 and 2025) and its trailer (scheduled for December 5). Rounding off the top five is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, released in the second week of November but continuing the series' tradition of pulling in audiences on Kick.

Like the previous list, last month's leaderboard also saw Music Stations (music content) and Other, Watch Party make it to the top ten, which was completed by three video games. Old School RuneScape, quite a surprising one to many, made it this high thanks to the release of Leagues IV: Trailblazer Reloaded, a reimagining of the iconic Trailblazer League game mode in the middle of the month that was well-received by fans and critics.

Most-watched and most popular streamers

Jordanian maherco has used the popularity of games like EA Sports FC 24 to climb the ladder  Jordanian maherco has used the popularity of games like EA Sports FC 24 to climb the ladder

Adin Ross continued his reign as the most-watched content creator on the Stake-backed website, having been at the top for almost all of the year. In fact, in a neat bit of symmetry, the top five from October maintained their positions in the latest rankings, showing just how popular and important they are among viewers and to the company, respectively.

From second to fifth are n3onxqcsxb, and Westcol, with the first two seeing rises and the latter two declines in their statistics. The remaining podium names increased their watch times by 1.7% and 8.2%, while the next two entries saw decreases of 21.4% and 19.6% in their Hours Watched counts.

Saudi Arabian sxb, who has made a name for himself thanks to his GTA V exploits, was another to jump on the Fortnite bandwagon, with both games almost taking the same share of his overall watch time over the month. Similarly, xqc had a lot more gambling streams on air in November, something he was not able to do much of during his time on the purple platform due to much stricter policies.

The lower half of the table is pretty star-studded, with names like roshteinac7ionmanyourrage, and mellstroy being some of the website's most recognizable acts. Someone who did stand up for the newbies was maherco, the Jordanian who played a lot of EA Sports FC 24, Rocket League, and RISK: Global Domination, helping him attract enough viewers to put him in tenth place.

N3on kept Adin away from a clean sweep of the rankings for the second month in a row  N3on kept Adin away from a clean sweep of the rankings for the second month in a row

For the second straight month, N3on has been able to beat Adin Ross to the top spot in terms of the most popular streamers of the month. A few other names from the above table have also found themselves here, which only serves to highlight how much in demand they are among audiences for their content.

The first fresh name is the sixth-placed hstikkytokky, the British influencer who made quite a splash with his videos last month, including some hours playing Fortnite. Next is heelmike in seventh, with the American another to benefit from some quality Just Chatting clips that have gotten him noticed among the Kick audiences.

Tfue, the returning former Fortnite and Twitch megastar, takes the ninth spot, with his comeback broadcast on the green streaming service doing 31K PV, making it one of that week's (November 14 to 20) most popular channels. The last name here is another Saudi Arabian, eagle, who also rode the wave of momentum that Epic Games' builder shooter has been experiencing to sneak into the top ten.

Note: Poland's carrioner was actually in the tenth position with 19K PV, but due to suspicious traffic behaviors that indicate viewbotting, we have excluded his name from the rankings.

Most-watched female Kick streamers

Jenfoxxx got one over her rival, amouranth, by topping November's most-watched female creator list. That she did so by a significant 30.7% will surely add an extra layer of sheen to her victory, and with the end of the year near, it will be interesting to see which of the two finish higher on the rankings.

Third and fourth are nadia and woodbabee, making this leaderboard another that had its top names the same as October. The latter focused more on games like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III than Pools, Hot Tubs & Bikinis content, which is what got her to the podium in the previous table.

Hanridge, who finished sixth last month, climbed up one spot to fifth, exchanging places with peachyjade. The former also changed tack to do more Just Chatting clips, which resulted in this gain, while her occasional dalliances with Slots & Casino no doubt aided this endeavor.

The bottom four are entirely different from the corresponding table from October. Sk8bae and purerisha were mostly involved in the always-discussed Pools, Hot Tubs & Bikinis genre, which undoubtedly helped garner more eyeballs for their broadcasts.

Xenathewitch, in eighth, mostly stuck to Just Chatting and Just Sleeping content to give her viewers their fill of entertainment. The tenth-placed ells, was perhaps the only name among the opposite sex to indulge in a certain amount of gaming to aid her in finishing in the top ten, with her Fortnite exploits giving her 43K HW, which was just about enough to beat off the challenge of the next-best entry and assure her of a top-ten finish.
