On the night of November 23, a Korean streamer KKatamina ended her streaming marathon, which was on air non-stop for almost two weeks. During that time she not only set a new record for paid subscriptions among female streamers, but also made it to the top of all content makers on the platform!
Who is Kkatamina?
26-year-old Kim Miyoung began her streaming career in the spring of 2020. Before that she worked in finance at a medical facility. Kkatamina's popularity on the platform has been boosted thanks to her being close to the members of OfflineTV community, with AriaSaki and Disguised Toast prompting her to change the career path.
Kkatamina began building her fan base by playing Minecraft on the OfflineTV server. For two seasons (up until the end of 2020) Kim was one of the most active players on FTB Revelations Server, where she regularly interacted with popular content creators including Sykkuno, Valkyrae, Ludwig and popular YouTuber Michael Reeves.

In late 2020, Kkatamina moved into the streamer house of OfflineTV association — LAMPS, where Fuslie, Exla, Hellomeganlee, PeterparkTV, and TheSushiDragon also lived and streamed. The streamers have subsequently changed locations, but Kim still lives with her friends Leslie, Peter, and Shiphtur.
Besides activities with her OfflineTV friends, Kim also streams on her own and is into many games, including Valorant and the children's game Bloons TD 6 (many other popular streamers like Gaules and xQc also became interested in it).
In November 2021 OfflineTV relaunched their RP server in Minecraft. And at the same time Kkatamina started her subathon, which turned out to be a record-breaking among female streamers on Twitch.
KKatamina's subathon records
KKatamina's subathon kicked off on the night of 9-10 November. For a fortnight Kim played various games, including Minecraft and Mario Party Superstars, as well as just chatted with the audience. Throughout this time she was supported by friends and acquaintances — Ludwig, Sykkuno and Valkyrae spent several thousand dollars on gift subscriptions.
On November 18, the ninth day of the subathon, Kkatamina set a new record for subscriptions among female streamers, exceeding 52,9K subscribers. However, this was far from over: according to the terms of the subathon, Kkatamina added 15 seconds to the duration of the stream for each new subscription — the timer approached zero several times, and Kim herself gave several farewell speeches to the audience, but at the last moment someone always gave her channel more subscriptions — and the time on the timer went up again.
The subathon ended on the night of 23 November — 73.6K people subscribed to Kkatamina's channel during the two weeks of the marathon. This is not only the highest figure among female streamers on Twitch, but one of the best on the platform overall.
