A month of full-fledged life on the streams without a break. Yes, today we will talk about the marathon of streamer Ludwig Agren, the new record holder for paid subscriptions and the one who created a new trend on Twitch.
Streams Charts will tell you how and why Ludwig streamed 31 days nonstop, what results it led to, how many hours he slept on streams, and who he overtook in terms of paid subscriptions.
How it all started
From March 5 to 11, Ludwig did not go on air on Twitch due to the fact that he had his appendix cut out. Therefore, the streamer decided to make up for lost time with the audience, and on the 14th he launched a subscription marathon.
The essence of this subathon was simple: each paid subscription extended the stream for 10 seconds (donations were not taken into account). It got to the point that Ludwig had to sleep on the streams, as the duration of the broadcast exceeded 30 hours. A couple of times the stream was interrupted due to technical problems, but Ludwig still did not give up. The maximum amount of time on the timer was 72 hours.
New Twitch record for paid subscriptions
As a result, the marathon lasted 31 days. Once Ludwig himself added time to timer to spend time with his girlfriend QTCinderella, and at the same time go for the record as the streamer with the largest number of paid subscriptions.
During the month of uninterrupted streaming, 273,585 people subscribed to the streamer. Thus, Ludwig broke the Ninja record set in 2018, when 269K people subscribed to Tyler Blevins. As for the followers, they increased by 982K.
How much Ludwig earned during subathon
In total, the chat spent $1.4M on subscriptions. Ludwig himself, taking into account taxes and salaries for moderators, but excluding advertising and sponsorship integrations, received $ 209K. In addition, Ludwig donated $ 449K out of $ 1.4M to charity.

The streamer was watched by the most viewers after 12:00 California time (GMT -7). At 15-16 hours the streams had an average of 53K viewers.
How "sleepy" is Ludwig?
