Livestreaming is where the line between professional sports and gaming really starts to blur. Every day, streaming platforms host hundreds of broadcasts of virtual football, basketball, and combat sports, drawing millions of viewers from all over the world. In collaboration with our partner BetFury, Streams Charts is revealing the most-watched sports video game streamers of the last year.

EA Sports FC
Football games dominate the sports simulation genre, both for gamers and streamers alike. EA Sports titles, in particular, remain the clear favorites within the community.
In 2024, the EA Sports FC 24 and EA Sports FC 25 (released in late September) amassed over 342 million hours of watch time across all platforms. What's more, older versions of the game, once known as FIFA, still make appearances on streams by top creators who enjoy reliving the nostalgia.

The most-watched EA Sports FC streamer of 2024 was British player Michael "AuzioMF" Faria, a professional gamer and one of the top virtual football content creators. His Twitch and YouTube streams combined for over 10 million hours of watch time, marking an almost 400% increase from the previous year. Auzio’s content covers a wide range, including patch discussions, player card reviews, pack openings, team composition breakdowns, and, of course, ranked matches.
NBA 2K
In 2024, various versions of NBA 2K accumulated just over 65 million hours of watch time, making it the second most-watched sports simulator franchise in the industry. As usual, the game's audience is predominantly from North America, with the top virtual dunk master being American streamer, YouTuber, and basketball influencer Josh "choc" Humphries.
Choc is a well-known NBA 2K content creator who began his journey in 2018. Today, he has popular channels on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram, where he shares highlights, game news, basketball updates, and tips for newcomers. He’s also an active Twitch streamer, with his 2024 broadcasts totaling over 3.35 million hours of watch time, nearly double the hours of the official NBA2KLeague channel. Remarkably, choc became the most active basketball simulator streamer in 2024, spending over 5,890 hours on air, far more than any other streamer in the category.
Madden NFL
Madden NFL is another top sports franchise that’s hugely popular among streamers and viewers, especially in North America. In 2024, streams of Madden NFL 24 and Madden NFL 25 combined amassed around 30,000,000 hours of watch time on Twitch, YouTube, Kick, and other platforms.
The leader in watch time for Madden NFL in 2024 was Kai Carlo "Kai Cenat" Cenat III, who played the game for just 23 hours, but he isn't a dedicated sports streamer. However, the real standout in Madden NFL content creation is Dubby "DubDot" Burner.
DubDot generated over 1,000,000 hours of watch time and spent more than 1,189 hours streaming. A prominent figure in the Madden community, DubDot is one of the longest-standing and most respected content creators for the game. A former pro player with over $150,000 in tournament earnings, his most notable achievement is winning the 2017 Madden Bowl championship.
Burner plays ranked matches, breaks down professional sports games and NFL events, analyzes team strategies, and participates in various sports events for streamers.

EA Sports College Football 25
EA Sports College Football 25, a highly anticipated college football simulator from EA Orlando, has made a significant impact in 2024. The game gained substantial attention from North American streamers and viewers, where college football enjoys immense popularity. College Football 25 also benefited from a unique Gameday Showcase campaign, featuring livestreams with iconic athletes like LeBron James, Chad Johnson, Quinn Ewers, Donovan Edwards, and Michael Vick.
After its release, College Football 25 quickly became the leading category on Twitch, with over 12,000 streamers broadcasting the game simultaneously, surpassing even Fortnite. Popular streamers like Kai Cenat, Kylie "Sketch" Cox and Din "Agent00" Muktar were at the forefront of the action, drawing in massive viewership.
In 2024, broadcasts of College Football 25 across various platforms generated around 20 million hours of watch time. A significant portion of that came from American streamer EsfandTV, a member of the OTK group and one of Twitch's most popular content creators. His channel alone contributed over 860,000 hours of watch time for College Football 25.
UFC
EA Sports UFC 5 is a mixed martial arts fighting game developed by EA Vancouver, released in 2023. The game has a much smaller audience compared to other EA Sports titles, and in 2024, its streams generated just around 2,000,000 hours of watch time.
While well-known streamers like Victor "coringa" Augusto, Adin Ross, and Tyler "Tyler1" Steinkamp briefly tried UFC 5, they didn’t stick with it for long. The standout MMA streamer, however, is Russian-speaking YouTuber Dominator MMA. Not just a streamer, but a true MMA enthusiast, he offers in-depth analyses of fighters' strengths and weaknesses, tips for beginners, and consistently dominates the global leaderboards. His impressive airtime and high viewership numbers set him apart as the top UFC 5 streamer.
Rocket League
It’s no surprise to see Rocket League among the top sports simulators, especially since the game recently became part of the FIFAe World Cup, where the best teams from different countries now compete. In 2024, Rocket League accumulated over 95 million hours of watch time across various platforms, primarily on Twitch. A significant portion of this impressive figure came from esports broadcasts.
The most-watched Rocket League streamer of 2024 was Corentin "Gotaga" Houssein, a highly popular French streamer and co-owner of the esports organization Gentle Mates. Gotaga frequently streams his team's matches, Gentle Mates Alpine, in various games, including Rocket League. His broadcasts were key during major events like the Esports World Cup 2024 and RLCS 2024 - World Championship, making him one of the key figures in the Rocket League community.
Gotaga is far from a one-game streamer. While he streams a variety of titles, including League of Legends, Valorant, and others, it was Rocket League that earned him the highest number of watch hours in 2024.
