At the end of December 2022, all Twitch esports teams updated their positions in the top 10 by Hours Watched, and the indicators of some of them have shown significant growth. In the new article, Streams Charts will tell you about the changes to the ranking over the last month of the year.
The most-watched esports team on Twitch in December was Team Liquid, with a 74% increase in views over the month. This growth is due to the organization's streamers participating in the Vault of the Incarnates Race to World First event for World of Warcraft.
For the same reason, Echo and Method saw insane growth in Hours Watched, up 805% and almost 200%, respectively. Note that Method was the only newcomer in the top and was ranked eighth, pushing DeToNator out of the top 10 teams.
Luminosity Gaming dropped to the second spot in the rankings and is down 19% over the month mainly because of the indicators of xQc. It should be reminded that in December, for the first time in a while, the Canadian did not become the most-watched streamer of quarter on Twitch.
Hours Watched of Cloud9 grew by 44% in a month, allowing the team to climb three positions in the ranking. The main reason for the growth of C9 was k3soju, who streamed a lot in December and generated almost six times more Hours Watched.
LOUD showed the largest decrease in Hours Watched in the top (down 35%) and dropped seven positions at once. The main reason for this was the deteriorating indicator of cloud_coringa, which spent 22% less time on the air in December.
