Streams Charts sums up the March results of YouTube Gaming and YouTube Live. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang retained its status as the most popular esports discipline on the platform, and there is a new leader in the list of most watched streamers.
Most Watched YouTube Gaming Channels
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has remained the most popular esports discipline on YouTube
Channels that streamed the MPL Indonesian regional league matches (Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Bang) became the best gaming channels on YouTube in March 2023. The MPL Indonesia channel accumulated the most views, 11.4 million Hours Watched, almost twice as many as it had in February.
Fourth and fifth positions in the Top are taken by the channels Sensa Gaming and ZEUSGACOR, which focus on broadcasting slots and virtual casinos. In March, they saw an increase in the total Hours Watched, as they streamed almost around the clock.
In the second half of the ranking is the channel NOBRU, a popular Free Fire player and streamer from Brazil. This channel is accompanied by Japanese VTuber Kazuha Channel. The remaining positions in the Top 10 are taken by Arena of Valor, CS:GO and League of Legends esports channels.
IShowSpeed has dropped from number one to number eight
NOBRU became #1 among top gaming YouTubers in March. Compared to February, he saw an increase in his HW to 3.7 million (+44%). In second place is Kazuho from Japan — he accumulated 2.65 million HW (+40%). Both made such progress thanks to the increase in airtime. IShowSpeed, the leader of February, streamed less than usual and lost 36% of the total Hours Watched. As a result, he slipped down to number eight of the ranking.
Streamers from third to eighth places showed very similar results in terms of Hours Watched, from 2.1 million to 2.4 million. This list includes Windash Basudara, MARSHA OZAWA, TimTheTatman, VEGETTA777, ilyas elmaliki and IShowSpeed. Of these, only Spaniard VEGETTA777 can be called a newcomer to the Top — he accumulated a lot of Hours Watched by taking part in the Minecraft event show by Quackity. The rest of the YouTubers, except IShowSpeed, just spent more time on air (because March lasted three days longer than February).
YouTubers DrDisrespect and Pekora Ch, who accumulated 1.91 million and 1.77 million Hours Watched, respectively, close the March ranking of the month. It should be noted that in February, Pekora Ch had 2.2 million HW and was fourth in the ranking. This drop was due to the fact that in March she spent 20 hours on air fewer.
Most Popular YouTube Live Non-Gaming Channels in March 2023
Most of the non-gaming top places have been taken by channels devoted to news and religion
The Argentinean channel Todo Noticias, which specializes in news and politics, became the leader among non-gaming channels in March. It accumulated 17.4 million HW. The Top 3 also includes the American channel Songs for Littles with songs for children and the Brazilian religious channel Ir Kelly Patricia.
Channel of Brazilian football journalist CazeTV retained its fourth place with 11 million HW in a month (49% more than in February). The channel primarily broadcasts matches of the Brazilian football league Carioca, the state championship of Rio de Janeiro. We should also remind you that it was CazeTV channel that has recently renewed the 2023 record for Peak Viewers.
AlJazeera Arabic and Citizen TV Kenya news and entertainment channels LUZU TV and Telemundo Entretenimiento are among the ten most watched non-gaming channels on YouTube. Pastor Jerry Eze and Bishop Bispo Bruno Leonardo's religious vlogs are also in the Top 10 of our monthly ranking.
