Streams Charts is continuing its 2024 recap of the live streaming world. This time, we’ve put together a list of the most-watched streamers of League of Legends, undoubtedly the most watched competitive game in livestreaming. And what’s intriguing is that the list is quite diverse, featuring not just top community casters but also standout SoloQ pros. And some of the streamers are so dedicated to their craft that they’ve made it to top 10 while balancing the challenges of being young fathers.
K4sen
One of the most popular League of Legends streamers in 2024 is the Japanese content creator k4sen, known for his incredible work ethic and ability to juggle multiple projects at once. As an official streamer for the Japanese esports organization ZETA DIVISION, he not only streams the organization’s matches in Valorant, Apex Legends, and other games, but he’s also a major presence in the League of Legends community, helping to boost the game’s popularity among Japanese viewers.
While k4sen isn’t a professional player, he’s earned a reputation as a top-tier commentator and one of the most charismatic figures in the Japanese live-streaming scene. He regularly hosts show tournaments and community events, often inviting other popular streamers and VTubers from Japan. In 2024, k4sen organized a three-day event called The K4sen Con, where stars from Japan’s live-streaming scene competed in games like Call of Duty, Zenless Zone Zero, Buckshot Roulette, and, of course, League of Legends. Thanks to these events, k4sen set a new personal record for his channel, peaking at 152,578 concurrent viewers.
Niklot “Tolkin” Stüber, Simon “Thebausffs” Hofverberg and Frederik “NoWay4u_Sir” Hinteregger
Former professional players often transition into popular streamers and community casters, thanks to their ability to share expert insights, accurately analyze gameplay, and offer tips to beginners. This formula works in League of Legends as well, with plenty of examples to back it up.
One of the most popular League of Legends streamers in 2024 was Tolkin, a former mousesports player and multiple-time Prime League champion. After retiring from competitive play, he became a full-time streamer and community caster, and in 2024, his live streaming career reached new heights. Tolkin generated over 15,200,000 Hours Watched (HW) in League of Legends this year and became the top German community caster for the 2024 World Championship, setting a new viewer record for his channel during the tournament.
Swedish player and streamer Thebausffs also had an impressive year in 2024. While he didn’t have a standout professional career — just a brief stint as a substitute for G2 Esports in 2019 — he still won over a large fanbase. Thebausffs didn’t stream Worlds and didn’t focus heavily on community casting this year, instead spending most of his time grinding ranked matches. By the end of 2024, he set a new record for his channel with 63,400 viewers tuning in at once.
If you've been following the European League of Legends scene, you’ve probably heard of German player NoWay4u_Sir, who played for EURONICS Gaming and NNO in the Prime League. Like many others, he transitioned from pro player to popular streamer.
NoWay is a unique case among top streamers, making it into the top 5 of 2024 without relying much on community casting. Unlike other big names, he didn’t cover major leagues or tournaments on his channel. Instead, he focused primarily on streaming his ranked matches from various regions.

What do Tolkin, Thebausffs, and NoWay all have in common? They’re all former professional players who’ve found significant success in live streaming, and they still make time to play in show matches. For instance, all three recently competed in the NNO Cup Season 2, which featured all-star teams of streamers and pro players. The winning team, Los Ratones, included Thebausffs.
Lee “BJ이상호” Sang-ho (lshooooo) and Kim “김민교” Min-gyo (phonics1)
The list of the most viewed League of Legends streamers wouldn’t be complete without representatives from South Korea, a key region for the game, both in terms of viewership and the level of professional teams. The streamers with the highest watch hours this year were BJ이상호 and 김민교 — two community casters who streamed on AfreecaTV (which later rebranded as SOOP Korea).
BJ이상호 is considered one of the esports ambassadors on AfreecaTV. He has been a top community caster for years, covering tournaments for Dota 2 and other games, but his main focus has always been League of Legends. After AfreecaTV’s rebranding, he became the first SOOP Korea streamer to reach over 100,000 viewers at peak during a broadcast.
As for 김민교, he can be seen as a mentee and successor to BJ이상호 — it was through their introduction that 김민교 began his career in live streaming. The two are now on great terms and both belong to the same agency, I`M BRAND Co., Ltd., which represents top content creators from South Korea.
BJ이상호 and 김민교 were both active in covering the domestic LCK league, as well as matches from the 2024 World Championship. 김민교 became the most popular community caster for the tournament in Korean, only trailing the official LCK YouTube channel in terms of audience reach. While BJ이상호 had fewer viewers during tournament broadcasts this year, he still outpaced his "student" in total Airtime. It’s great to see how this friendly competition is helping push the growth of Korean community casting in esports.
Tyler “Tyler1” Steinkamp
The list of the most popular League of Legends community casters wouldn’t be complete without Tyler1, the legendary American streamer, SoloQ star, and master of every position in ranked games. His showmanship (often mistaken for toxicity) earned recognition even from the Korean team T1, where he served as a content creator for over a year. While Tyler1 now faces more competition on Twitch and in League of Legends, he still managed to reclaim his spot as the top League of Legends streamer in North America.
In 2024, Tyler1 continued to entertain fans with epic SoloQ runs, but he also kept up with the competitive scene. Although he wasn't the most active community caster, he still made time to cover major event finals, such as the LCS finals and the Esports World Cup.
Tyler1's League of Legends streams in 2024 generated over 24,330,000 HW, though this number could have been even higher if not for a month and a half of inactivity in April. However, the reason for his break was a happy one — the streamer welcomed a daughter into his family.
Ibai “Ibai” Llanos
Spanish streamer Ibai has firmly established himself as one of the top personalities in the livestreaming world. His achievements include organizing the Kings League football league, hosting boxing events like La Velada del Año, managing his own esports organization KOI, and setting numerous viewership records on Twitch.
With such a packed schedule, it’s hard to believe he still manages to stay at the top of the League of Legends community casting scene. In 2024, he was just behind Caedrel in total watch hours but led in both average and peak viewership during tournament streams.
A big part of this success came from his broadcasts of Worlds 2024, where Ibai’s channel hit 416,980 concurrent viewers during the Grand Final between T1 and Bilibili Gaming. This was the highest viewership among all community casters at the tournament and the fifth-highest across all channels covering the event.
Gustavo ‘’Baiano’’ Gomes
Baiano, a former Brazilian professional League of Legends player, has become one of the top community casters at international tournaments. He previously played for Keyd Stars, CNB e-Sports Club, and Santos e-Sports in the support role. Now, after many years, he continues to help grow the Brazilian League of Legends scene as both a commentator and tournament organizer.
In 2024, Baiano hit a major milestone — he became the leader among all League of Legends streamers in terms of airtime. His broadcasts run nearly around the clock, including live streams and replays, and he’s also one of the few top streamers who actively uses multistreaming across different platforms. This year, he set a new viewership record on his YouTube channel — 140,572 viewers tuned in to watch the Worlds 2024 match between T1 and paiN Gaming at the same time.
Baiano’s work ethic in 2024 was incredible. He not only covered international tournaments and the CBLOL league, but also stayed on top of top-tier matches in the LEC, LCS, LCK, and LPL. His broadcasts were nearly non-stop, offering something for viewers at all times. Baiano is now the most popular League of Legends community caster in Portuguese and has a larger audience reach than even the official CBLOL channel on YouTube.
In addition to his streaming, Baiano continued to build Ilha das Lendas, his own League of Legends team and content creation group. He also hosted two seasons of the CBOLÃO League, which featured all-star teams with popular Brazilian players and streamers. It's impressive how Baiano manages to balance all of this with such a packed streaming schedule. A true hero of the Brazilian scene, he's changing the industry despite facing health issues.
Marc Robert ‘’Caedrel’’ Lamont
The most-watched League of Legends streamer in 2024 is Caedrel, a former pro player who competed in the EU LCS for teams like FC Schalke 04 and H2K Gaming. After stepping away from top-tier tournaments, he transitioned to full-time streaming several years ago. However, it’s clear that his career in livestreaming and community casting has reached new heights this year.
In 2024, Caedrel racked up over 73,400,000 HW on Twitch. Compared to last year, his viewership skyrocketed by 222%, making him the streamer with the biggest growth among the top 30 League of Legends streamers across all platforms! The progress is impressive and, most importantly, well-earned.
Over the past year, Caedrel has been an active presence covering matches in the LEC, LCK, and other top leagues, as well as streaming events like EMEA Masters, the Mid-Season Invitational, and, of course, the World Championship. He became the most-watched community caster at Worlds 2024, and he also ranked second in peak viewership among streamers (only behind Ibai). In terms of average viewership during Worlds, the British streamer even surpassed official LoL Esports channels (YouTube) and riotgames (Twitch). One of his standout moments during Worlds was breaking his own viewership record — the final between T1 and Bilibili Gaming brought in 402,505 viewers on his channel at the same time.
It’s also worth noting that Caedrel was an official streamer for Fnatic throughout 2024, but he parted ways with the organization in December. Now, he’s focusing on a new venture — he recently founded and became the coach of the team Los Ratones, which competes in show tournaments and even claimed the title of NNO Cup Season 2 champion.
