We saw some of the most important tournaments of the year take place in November. Events such as IEM Rio Major 2022, Worlds 2022, the VCT 2022 Game Changers Championship, and many others happened during that month, entertaining millions of viewers from all around the world.
ESL Gaming was the most-watched Twitch team in November, but by a small margin. Its multiple broadcasts of the IEM Rio Major 2022 had viewers hooked for 24.4 million hours. The vast majority of fans watched the event in the company's main English broadcast, helping the stream reach 413K Peak Viewers. Worth noting that, in the previous month ESL Gaming was the sixth most popular team on the platform, and their number of HW went up by 10 million.
Coming just behind ESL Gaming we have the CS.GO Professional Players Streams. During the Major, there were plenty of professional players broadcasting after or previous to the matches. Content creators such as Major champion AdreN, fl0m, and even ex-Valorant pro player ShahZaM, were some of the names that broadcasted the game regularly, with viewers watching their team for 23.5 million hours.
Closing out the podium we have Intel Extreme Masters with 23.4 million Hours Watched. The tournament organizer made the list after not making it in October, mainly due to the IEM Rio Major 2022, an event the company sponsored. All the official ESL Gaming channels are a part of the Intel Extreme Masters Twitch team. With all of them broadcasting the Major, it allowed the company to secure third place in this list.
Loaded dropped two places this month, coming in fourth place, with 22.2 million Hours Watched. The agency is the home of some of the biggest names in the streaming world, such as summit1g, LIRIK, and CohhCarnage. 31 streamers broadcasted under the Loaded banner this past month, helping them become the fourth most popular Twitch team of November.
Tribo Gaules played a very important role in the last CS.GO Major. Gaules stream was the most important one, as it was more popular than the official tournament broadcast in multiple moments, and “La Tribonera” made IEM Rio Major 2022 a unique event. Viewers watched Tribo Gaules streams for 22.2 million hours, mostly tuning in to watch the Brazilian teams' matches.
G Fuel dropped from third to sixth place, despite their number of HW remaining pretty much the same. Once again summit1g lead the team in Hours Watched. Corsair maintained its seventh place in the list, but the team saw a 5.6% increase in HW. Summit1g and CohhCarnage made up 54.2% of the team's HW. OTK also saw a slight increase in the HW metric, and climbed up two places. The team leaders were Asmongold and sodapoppin, who made up 61,2% of the 14.5 million Hours Watched the team achieved.
AMP made its way into the top ten this month, with 13.8 million Hours Watched, despite only having three channels streaming under the team banner. KaiCenat made up an impressive 93.6% of the team's HW. Closing out this Top 10 we have Twitch Ambassadors with 11 million Hours Watched. The team is also a new entry in the list, with content creators GRONKH and QuickyBaby being fundamental for that to happen.
