Most Watched Categories in November 2022
Just Chatting remains the most watched category on Twitch by a wide margin. It racked up nearly 250 million Hours Watched in November, a 3.4% increase over the previous month. GTA 5 moved up from fourth to second place in the ranking, and its Hours Watched number grew by 7.2% over the month.
League of Legends, which saw its HW drop by 40% after the end of Worlds 2022, rounds out the Top 3 categories on Twitch in November. It is followed by CS:GO, which moved up from number eight in the ranking. In November, the shooter showed a nearly 57% increase in HW, thanks to IEM Rio Major 2022 and BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Finals broadcasts.
Valorant closes the Top 5 categories of the month on Twitch. The shooter climbed one place in the rankings in November, but its HW didn't change much. Call of Duty: Warzone returned to the Top 10 most watched categories on the platform thanks to the release of Warzone 2. "Battle Royale" takes sixth in the Top, with its Hours Watched up 143% over the month.
Overwatch 2, a novelty of October, dropped from third to seventh place in the ranking, with its HW dropping by nearly 65% over the month. Minecraft saw its HW number increase by 5.4% in November, moving it from ninth to eighth place in the ranking. World of Warcraft also rose by one line in the ranking. At the same time, the HW of this MMORPGrose by 34.6% that month thanks to the Dragonflight installment release.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, released in late October, rounds out the Top 10 games of the month on Twitch, accumulating 44 million Hours Watched. It should be noted that a novelty of November, God of War: Ragnarok, was close to the Top 10, but lagged behind MWII by 7% of HW.
Most Watched Channels in November 2022
Gaules becomes the most popular streamer on Twitch for the second month in a row. The Brazilian creator streamed IEM Rio Major 2022 and BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Finals in November, which increased his HW by 34.6%. xQc and KaiCenat again round out The top 3 male streamers on the platform, with the HW of the Canadian content creator going up 23.2% over the month, and the HW of the American content creator going up 27.8%.
Casimito takes fourth place in the Top of streamers. In November, the Brazilian streamer broadcast World Cup matches, which increased his HW by 264.8%. HasanAbi rounds out the Top 5 male streamers on the platform, and his HW in November increased by 18.7%.
Fps_shaka, whose HW in the month increased by 32.5% mainly thanks to Valorant broadcasts, takes sixth place in ranking. Ibai dropped from fifth to seventh place and became the only one in the Top of male streamers whose HW in November decreased from October (-21.5%).
AdinRoss climbed from ninth to eighth in the ranking, and his HW increased by 7.8%. summit1g and stylishnoob4 are also in the Top 10, with a 12.2% and 28.2% increase of HW in November, respectively.
Considering the overall Twitch channel ranking, there are only two channels of organizations that are in the November ranking. ESL_CSGO jumped from sixth to second place, with its HW up 111% over the month thanks to broadcasts of IEM Rio Major 2022 and BLAST Premier Fall 2022 Finals. Another organization's channel, Riot Games, dropped from first to eighth place in the ranking, with its HW dropping by 82.1% over the month.
Most Watched Female Streamers in November 2022
Amouranth continues to hold the title of the most watched female streamer on Twitch by a wide margin compared to the other girls on the platform. Her HW number remained almost unchanged over the month. The newcomer to the ranking, the VTuber Apricot is in second place, with her HW increasing by 33.3% over the month. Curiously, Apricot's most popular category is I'm Only Sleeping.
The platform's Top 5 female streamers in November also includes saddummy (서새봄냥), 39daph and Jinnytty, whose numbers grew by 2.4%, 25.9% and 7.9%, respectively, over the month. In total, each of them accumulated slightly more than 1 million HW, while the rest of the female streamers in the Top (5th-10th places) accumulated between 1 million and 800K Hours Watched.
Interestingly, the VTuber Shylily dropped from second to tenth place in the ranking, losing 47.7% of her HW over the month. At the same time, ironmouse, once the most popular VTuber on the platform, dropped out of the Top 10 female streamers.
Most Popular Broadcasts in November 2022
In November, the most popular broadcast was hosted by the French streamer aminematue, attracting more than 1.15 million Peak Viewers. This happened during the Eleven All Stars football match with the participation of streamers from Spain and France.
Second place goes to Worlds 2022 Grand Final between DRX and T1 on the Riot Games channel. It was watched by 990.2K PV. The same match was also broadcast on the channels of LCK_Korea and Ibai, which ranked third and fifth, respectively.
IEM Rio Major 2022 Semifinal between FURIA and Heroic on the Gaules channel ranks fourth, reaching 534.5K PV. The Grand Final of that Major between Outsiders and Heroic was broadcast on ESL_CSGO and ranks sixth in out Top with 413.7K PV.
FIFA World Cup on TheGrefg and Casimito's channels, Brawl Stars World Finals on the BrawlStars channel and IEM Rio Major 2022: Legends Stage on the ESL_CSGOb channel are also in the Top 10.
Most Viewed Clip in November 2022
In November, the most popular clip was the moment from the xQc's broadcast of Overwatch 2, where the streamer and Nyxxii officially confirmed their relationship and kissed. This event has caused a strong reaction from the audience, especially amid the fact that xQc has recently broken up with Adept. At the time of publication of this article, the clip has amassed more than 588K views. We should note that in the second half of November, the streamer has already broken up with Nyxxii.
