Elevated, One True King’s (OTK) newest show for small streamers to showcase themselves to the world, ended last week. It did some decent numbers while reaffirming the popularity of Twitch megastars like zackrawrr, sodapoppin, EsfandTV, and ExtraEmily.
The competition also carried a prize pool of $50K for the eventual winner. As stated by Asmongold, co-owner of the popular streamer organization:
“Those who rise to the top of the game show will be rewarded with ‘visibility, prize money, and name.’”
At the end of it all, it was Mayor Wertz who own Season 1 of the ten-episode game show, leaving his fans pretty happy. He gutted it out from the first episode to emerge as the deserving victor and grow his Twitch followers count from 3.2K to an admittedly-impressive 18.7K.
Elevated's format witnessed six participants being challenged across ten aspects of streaming. This unique structure also had a gauntlet style, meaning eliminated contestants were replaced by new players each week.
The judges, who were members of OTK, were the ones to decide who stayed and who was shown the door. What made the entire concept interesting was that the Twitch chat served as the fourth judge, with their opinions and suggestions influencing the outcome.
Viewership stats from OTK Elevated on Twitch
This OTK game show ended up with 42.9K Peak Viewers, achieved thanks to Episode 8, which was broadcast on EsfandTV’s Twitch channel. In fact, the OTK co-owner of the streamer organization was the only one to notch more than 40 PV, and he did so twice, with Episode 9 also just about reaching this mark.
Only two further episodes reached 35K+ PV, with zackrawrr and ExtraEmily hitting 37.6K and 39.7K peak concurrent viewers, respectively. It is a testament to these content creators’ ability to connect with audiences and engage them regularly that they were able to do so well and help this show raise its essential stats.
When looking at the watch time, it was EsfandTV who once again shone, being the only one to hit over 100K Hours Watched twice. Only three other streamers were able to hit this mark, with sodapoppin notching 108K HW and ExtraEmily 106K HW during their respective broadcasts of the show.
However, the star was zackrawrr, who hit an awesome 158K HW during Episode 4, which was 24.6% better than the next best entry. Considering it is the alternate Twitch account of the highly-popular Asmongold, this was not a surprise, as he has consistently been able to draw large numbers during both regular broadcasts and those of special events such as this.
Looking at the chat activity across the ten episodes, it is clear that the game show generated quite a lot of buzz, as it registered 713K total messages and 33K total active chatters. The finalist to generate the most mentions within messages was Navious, who was 53.4% higher than the next-best broadcaster, MissSkillShots.
In terms of chatters, too, it was Navious who led the charge and did 173.6% better than the second person on the list, MissSkillShots again. No other contestant managed 300 users, although Forreign saw a boost in his messages mentioned numbers thanks to his fans spamming emojis in the chat.
When looking at the active chatter stats of the content creators who streamed OTK Elevated, only Asmongold managed to hit the 10K milestone during Episode 4. sodapoppin and Nmplol were the only others to cross 7K active chatters, across the entirety of the show.
Regarding messages shared on their Twitch chat, it was zackrawrr who was atop the pile, hitting the 93K mark. It was again left to sodapoppin and Nmplol to carry the flag for the remaining streamers, as they were the only two to cross 80K messages (82K each).
Considering the success of this game show, OTK is sure to conduct more such editions to unearth even more talented and upcoming broadcasters. Who knows, a few of these contestants may even be auditioning for future roles within this sought-after company.
