Share:

May saw the end of many Twitch Rivals streamer events – from Fortnite Zero Build tournaments to cooking battles. In the new article, Streams Charts will tell you about the most popular and interesting ones.

Zero Build Showdown and Creator Series

Four of the twelve Twitch Rivals events that ended in May took place in Fortnite using the Zero Build mode. At the same time, two of them took place as part of the Zero Build Showdown series and two as part of the Creator Series.

Zero Build Showdown II NA, ft. Fortnite followed Zero Build Showdown II LATAM, ft. Fortnite and became the most popular Twitch Rivals tournament in May, gathering 191.7K Peak Viewers. Over 90 North American creators took part in the event with a $100K prize pool, including such titans of streaming as Tfue and Shroud.

Tfue also hosted the penultimate event of the Creator Series and then played in the Creator Series: Grand Final with a prize pool of $100K. The championship became the most popular in the series, having attracted 70.7K Peak Viewers, but still failed to enter the top 5 Twitch Rivals events in May. It should be noted that during the aforementioned tournaments Tfue took the lead in terms of all indicators.

Ultimate Challenge II Live from Barcelona

At the end of May, the charity event Ultimate Challenge II, Live from Barcelona was held, in which 32 Spanish-speaking streamers took part – including TheGrefg, KomancheElmariana и aXoZer. The prize fund of the tournament amounted to $100K and was donated to the humanitarian organization Direct Relief.

Those participating in Ultimate Challenge II were divided into teams of two and competed against each other in both IRL challenges and video games. The event was followed by almost 175K Peak Viewers. Perxitaa, VioletaG, MYM_ALKAPONE, and wereverwero who made it to the finals will compete in the Ultimate Challenge III at TwitchCon Amsterdam in July. At the same time, Twitch Rivals will cover all expenses for the flight and accommodation of streamers.

It should be reminded that we will also be attending TwitchCon 2022 Amsterdam. We will tell you all the details about our location and activities closer to the event.

Trackmania Challenge ft. Wirtual

Trackmania Challenge ft. Wirtual was the third most popular Twitch Rivals tournament in May and gathered 114K Peak Viewers. The event was attended by eight teams of two people. Each team consisted of one professional Trackmania player and one streamer. As part of the Trackmania Challenge ft. Wirtual, three games were played in Duo's Cup, Flag Rush, and Pathfinder modes, and Team Kcorp composed of kamet0 and Bren_TM2 became the champion of the tournament.

Dedsafio PUBG Shuffle

Dedsafio PUBG Shuffle was attended by 100 people, of which 80 were streamers and 20 were pro players. As part of the event, six games were played in different modes. The tournament attracted more than 80.4K Peak Viewers and entered the top 4 Twitch Rivals tournaments of the month. It should be noted that the most popular creators of Dedsafio PUBG Shuffle were elmariana, axozer, and elded.

QTCinderella's Sweet Showdown ft. Kitchen League

QTCinderella’s Sweet Showdown ft. Kitchen League was the first culinary tournament in the history of Twitch Rivals. Only two streamers duos took part in the event: HasanAbi teamed up with Myth, and Cyr teamed up with richwcampbell. For several hours they had to stand at the kitchen table and prepare various desserts for the adeptthebest and blaustoise to judge.

The duo of HasanAbi and Myth became the champion of the tournament with a margin of just a single point. It is worth mentioning that, according to the judges, the winners were the best in terms of taste, while Cyr and richwcampbell went ahead in terms of the look of their respective culinary masterpieces. QTCinderella's Sweet Showdown ft. The Kitchen League reached the mark of more than 73K Peak Viewers, reaching the 5th spot in the May Twitch Rivals top.

Streamer Chef Singapore

Streamer Chef Singapore, the second culinary tournament in the history of Twitch Rivals took place just a day later. At this event, unlike QTCinderella’s Sweet Showdown ft. Kitchen League, there were three teams of three people each who prepared full meals rather than desserts. The champion of the Streamer Chef Singapore was the “Can’t Cook” team consisting of Wolfsbanee, Sukasblood, and Zumi.

Friday Night Bites ft. Strawburry17plays & Golf Gang

Friday Night Bites ft. Strawburry17plays & Golf Gang became the fourth tournament of the series in 2022. This time, eight players (including the host Strawburry17plays) competed in the Golf Gang game. In total, the participants of the event played five rounds of golf in different game modes, each of which raffled off $6K, which went to charity. The competition’s best player was KarimCheese, who won the first three rounds, finished third in the fourth, and finished second in the fifth.

The nearest Twitch Rivals event (Elden Ring 2v2 Challenge ft. Mendo) will take place on June 2. The tournament will be attended by eight streamer teams of two members each. It should be noted that this will be the first event in the Elden Ring series.
