Playstation Showcase 2021 Viewership Stats
The presentation itself lasted an hour and collected 1.5M Hours Watched. The event was streamed mainly on Twitch (57.2% HW) and YouTube (42.7% HW).
The showcase attracted almost 2.1 million viewers at the peak of the broadcast and overtook the Xbox Games Showcase in 2020, but did not surpass the Xbox & Bethesda presentation at E3 2021, it lacked 20% of viewers. At the same time, the 2021 showcase bypassed the State of Play presentations, but this is easily explained by the level of the announced games.
The situation is the same for the Average Viewers. The Playstation Showcase 2021 was watched by 1.4 million spectators on average, but this figure wasn’t the best among the last presentations. The first place still belongs to the presentation of the Playstation 5.
Regarding the audience, 64.8% of HW was generated by English-language viewers, 8.4% by Spanish-language broadcasts, and 7.2% by Portuguese-language broadcasts. But the Showcase audience doesn’t limit to these languages; viewers watched broadcasts (not only official ones) in more than 17 languages.
Highest viewed PlayStation Showcase 2021 streamers
The most popular broadcast was the official one on the Playstation YouTube channel - 575K Peak Viewers. Among the community streamers, Alanzoka was the leader on Twitch with 54.6K Peak Viewers.
