Riot Games has officially unveiled 2XKO, their latest entry in the fighting game genre. Formerly known as 'Project L', the game will stand out with its unique feature: 2v2 team-based duels.
According to the developers, this format will offer players new possibilities, enabling them to switch between heroes, combos, and various fighting combinations. The characters in 2XKO will be drawn from the League of Legends universe. So far, several characters have been revealed, including Darius, Ahri, Yasuo, and Ekko.
The game was initially announced under a codename in 2019, with its first demo revealed at EVO 2023, one of the world's major FGC events.
2XKO will be free-to-play on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The release of the title is scheduled for 2025.
