The U.S. presidential election has been one of the most talked-about topics in the media for months, and it's been a major focus in live-streaming as well. On November 5th, hundreds of streamers around the world tuned in to cover the election results in real time, reporting on voting outcomes across various states. Thanks to these broadcasts, many content creators attracted thousands of viewers to their channels, and some platforms even set new all-time audience records. For instance, Rumble set a new peak viewership record for the third time in 2024.
Rumble, a relatively small platform, is especially popular among conservative American users. It's home to numerous political talk shows and bloggers who support Donald Trump, and they’ve been particularly active during this election cycle, especially on Election Day.
Most Popular Streaming Platforms
On the November 6, Rumble streams hit a peak of over 1.79 million viewers, setting a new all-time record for the platform. This performance surpassed Kick and placed Rumble in the top three most popular streaming platforms. To put it in perspective, Rumble's previous record was just over 1.04 million Peak Viewers, set during the September debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris.
The largest audiences on Rumble during Election Night came from political streamers Dan Bongino and Steven Crowder — their channels peaked at 515K and 460K viewers, respectively. These are now the two most-watched channels in the platform's history. Interestingly, both Bongino and Crowder also set personal viewership records during the September debates.
