The Sidemen charity match, which pits some of the world’s biggest content creators against each other, will emanate from the London Stadium on September 9. Around 62K tickets have been sold as the organizers have promised that the fifth edition of this event, first conducted in 2016, will be 'bigger than ever.'
One of the earliest big-time YouTubers to be confirmed was iShowSpeed, with many more names being revealed over the ensuing months. All of these participants will group into two teams — Sidemen FC and YouTube All-Stars — and battle each other for bragging rights on the field. Most importantly, three charity institutes will be supported through this event: Teenage Cancer Trust, Calm (Campaign Against Living Miserably), and Rays of Sunshine.

It was Miniminter who starred last year at The Valley Stadium, notching a hat-trick in a tense 8-7 win, so he'll be the man to watch again this time around. The squad will be managed by Billy Wingrove, famous as one-half of the freestyle football duo F2.
Having lost a close encounter last time around, this team will be rearing to go one better. It should help that Manchester United superfan Mark Goldbridge, like in 2022, will be the manager this time as well.
What about the tickets and live broadcast?
Unfortunately, tickets for attending the match live have been sold out. However, fans who couldn’t procure them can still watch the action live on the day and donate to support the various causes attached to it.
Fans can catch the action live on the official Sidemen YouTube channel, with commentary coming from YouTubers Spencer Owen and Stephen Tries. Moreover, Elz the Witch and Big Zuu will be hosting the action on the pitch, so there are lots of renowned faces for fans to catch up on come Saturday. Needless to say, lots of prominent influencers will also be live-streaming this exhibition match as they have been doing every year, so readers can check out their favorite internet personalities' schedules to see when they start streaming.
There will also be official Sidemen charity match watch parties hosted at Boxpark Wembley and Boxpark Croydon, where fans 'will be able to tuck into sides, watch the game, and have a chance to win exclusive prizes.' Anyone still interested in attending this screening can head here to register their interest and get more details.
